Beep! Beep! Beep! I groaned and sat up. I ran my hand through my curly black hair with red highlights that my mom liked, but my dad hated (over-protective and felt like red highlights attract the wrong boys even though I've been with Matt for 2 years now.) I got up brushed my teeth and hair then picked out my outfit. I'm captain of the debate team and a serious literature nerd who still is just a feisty as anyone and I show that feistiness through my clothes. I got in the shower and I picked out a spaghetti strapped sweetheart neckline black form fitting cropped top with a pair of jean shorts and my sleeveless black leather jacket. To pull it all together I put on my black heel with shoestrings in the front and a bedazzled heels with my bracelets and a gold necklace that said "Alexia" that Matt gave to me for our one year anniversary. My nails black as usual and I curled my hair and gave myself a bright red lipstick making my hazel eye stick out more and winged eyeliner and a smokey eye. I have to go looking fly. I put my shades in my hair and grabbed my bag and went downstairs. I said "Good morning." "Good morning." I grabbed a green apple (I love the sourness.) "Morning mom." I said kissing her cheek. "Good morning sweetheart." My dad said prying his eyes away from his latest book that he's been obsessed with it's called To Kill A Mocking Bird. He's read it a thousand time and yet it still captivates him. "Morning dad. How the book your reading for the millionth time?" I said teasingly. "Just as good as ever." He said with his signature goofy grin. My dad looked me over and I could tell he disapproved of my outfit, but would never say anything with mom right there. I heard a familiar honking sound and got up and said "That's Matt. Have good day! Love you!" "See you darling!" They said as I already was half way out the door. I got into his jeep and he said "Hello gorgeous." He said flirtatiously. "Right back at you handsome." I said grinning at him. He leaned in and kissed me for a few minutes then his hands started traveling up my shirt a little and I pulled back and I blushed (we've been together for 2 years and I still blush) and said "As much as I'd love to keep going we've got to get going or else we're going to be late." ~lie, I just wanted to stop- "Your such nun sometimes." "Whatever." I said turning on the radio playing Beyoncé who run the world. He scrunched up his nose and said "How can you listen this?" He always hated this song because it basically said that girls were better than boys and he hated it. But he would never bring up that argument with the captain of the debate otherwise known as his girlfriend. We pulled up and I got out and I could already hear the guys whistling at me. I screamed over my shoulder "Take a picture, it last longer!" And I stuck my tongue out at them. They just grinned. Matt slung his arm over my shoulder and we went and met up with our friends. Ava, Ella, George and Dylan. Ava and Ella have been my best friends since the 9th grade. "Hey guys." I said. Ava (she's the overdramatic one) said "OMG!! We really need to talk to you!" She said and dragged me away. "Ava! What's going on?!" "You tell her Ella." I looked at Ella (she's the hyper one) and she said "There is a hot new guy here today and he's in our class!" "Okay?" I said not really seeing what the big deal was about. "Your not excited! He has a motorcycle... Come on you know you love motorcycles." She said poking me. She was right, I do love motorcycles... My weakness. "Well, what's his name?" "His name is Zac. Come on he's outside, we'll show you." They dragged me outside. A million girls were surrounding this guy. We pushed through the crowd and saw him. My eyes widened in recognition. "No." I whispered. "It can't be." His eyes were scanning the crowd and they landed on me. He gave me a confused look, clearly noticing my expression differed from the other girls. Either that or he just was checking me out. My money is on the first one. "Do I know you from somewhere?" He said to me. All eyes were now on me and everyone shut up. "I don't think so, but where are my manners, my name is Alexia Piper, but people call me Alex. You are?" His eyes lit up in recognition, but I just blew it off. "Zac, Zachary Myers... Alex is that really you?" "Do you know me or something?" I said playing dumb... I knew exactly what he was talking about. Sadly. "Alex, don't play that with me. I know you recognize me. Been a long time." "Okay I don't know you. So, stop talking I me as if we're long lost friends." I said putting my hand on my hip giving him a whole lot of attitude. His brow furrowed as he said "You really don't remember me? Well, I have changed a lot in 4 years." He said with a cocky grin. "Okay, see you later Zac the weirdo. I'm out of here." "Why?" "I'm not going to stand here by some nut job who claims he knows me so I have but one thing left to say- goodbye!" I spun on my heels and stormed inside. ~No, he's not back! That's not him! It can't be! He is not back!~ I felt someone grab my arm and I swung punching whoever it was in the nose with a sicking cracking noise. "Oh, I'm so sor-" I saw who it was, Zac then I said "Oh, it just you. Well then that's fine." "Geez, have you been lifting weights since I left?" "I don't know you?! Now, let me go or else deal with my foot!" I said trying to get my arm out of his grasp. His grip only tightened and he looked right into my hazel eyes with his big brown ones filled with determination. "Not until you admit that you know me." "Fine, yes Zac I do remember you, but I also remember we weren't on the best speaking terms when you left." "You're still holding on to that." I grinned slightly and said "I hold a grudge, Zac. You should know that." "I do." "What are you even doing here?" "I'm back in town, A. And this time I don't plan on leaving... You know your friend what's her name.... Ella. She's pretty cute I might just ask her out." He said teasingly. "Listen Zac, you stay away from me and my friends or else." I said setting my jaw clenching my fist and I said them at through clenched teeth. "Or else what? Good girls are too nice to hurt me." He was calling me a good girl! Please, drop dead right here right now! I grinned evilly and said "Luckily I'm not a good girl... Like you said earlier about you changing a lot, so have I. I'm not the girl I used to be." He leaned in really close and said "Sure... Listen Alex you and I both know you can't hurt me or stay mad at me so, why don't we just start over and be friends again." "Friends? With you? No thanks, I'm good." I turn and start walking away. "You can't stay mad at me forever, Alex!" I looked at him and said "Oh, yeah? Watch me!" I rolled my eyes and went to class leaving him standing there. This can't be happening. I sighed and went to class. I wasn't able to pay attention in any class today. After classes before lunch(last period) Ella and Ava rushed over to me "How?" Ella asked. "How what?" I said confused. "How do you know him?" Ava chimed in. "We have a complicated history." They gasped and said "You two went out?" "No! I would never go out with that! Eww!" "Then how is it complicated?" Ava said brow furring. "Could we talk about this later? I really don't want to think about him right now." "Think about who?" Matt said coming up from behind me. "No one. It's nothing." Matt's the jealous type and if he knew about my history with Zac, Matt would go ballistic. "Great, hey did you see that new guy. All the girls seem to be falling for him." "Trust me, not all." I said more to myself. He smiled and we all walked to lunch. The first thing I see is a swarm of girls surrounding Zac. He looked at me and grinned evilly and told everyone to stay there and came over to me. ~Great~ "Hey, Alex." I rolled my eyes and said "What do want Zac?" "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?" He said eyeing Ella. Who is blushing like crazy. "No, I wasn't planning on it." "Well, can you please?" "Fine this is Ella and Ava my best friends." He looked a little hurt by the fact that they are my best friends but he went back to his arrogant self in no time. "Nice to meet you." He said flashing an award winning smile at them and they just squealed and said "Hi." They said shyly which is new since they aren't shy at all. "This is my boyfriend Matt and his friends Dylan and George." "Hey." He said studying Matt extra carefully. Dylan and George nonchalantly said "Hey." Matt on the other hand said "Hey, do you want to sit with us?" I gave Matt a look telling him no, but he just left it alone. Zac noticed my look and said "I'd love to. It'll give me a chance to get to catch up with Alex." He said smiling evilly. Matt gave me a confused look. "Actually Zac that's not nessasary ." I said plastering the a fake smile on my face. "Now, Alex. Just let the boy sit with us." Ella said and Ava quickly agreed. Zac cockily smiled and said "Then I guess it's settled." I glared at him, but kept my mouth shut knowing Ella and Ava were locked in his spell and wanted him to sit with us so badly. He smiled triumphantly. We all got our lunch and sat down. The thought of Zac sitting with us made me lose my appetite. So I didn't get anything. Ava and Ella just drooled over Zac while the guys talked sports and clubs I pulled out my phone and texted a good friend of mine Blake (the only guy Matt won't get jealous if I hang out with.)
