Dear Cedric,
A week. That's how long you've been gone. It still hurts. I am so glad that Leah is staying with us, I don't know what I would do without her. Of course, what are friends for. The firm reality that now we won't get married as we had planned to is another wound. People might say that as young adults at the age of 17 we don't understand love. They are wrong. They don't understand love. I think that you only understand love if you have felt it. Not the crush or just dating kind, but the raw, sweet but painful kind. The kind that even if you still 'like' that person you don't stutter or get nervous because you know that you can be yourself with them. That's how I felt with you.
Love,
Angelica
