(AN: This chapter will be in the perspective of Kyle Katarn stealing the Death Star plans and I will also mix in some canon and legend elements to my story. Kyle will not be the main character because these first 2 chapters are just Prologues)
Kyle's POV
"Jumping out of light speed to The Maw research facility" Captain Cassian Andor said.
"These codes from Wedge better work or else this infiltration mission will be over before it even began" Kyle Katarn said. "Don't worry, my father knows we're coming. He will have the charges set" said Jyn. "I hope Bevel Lesmik isn't suspicious about anything. His look just makes me think that he's the Emperor's right hand, though I'm not forgetting about Mara Jade." Kyle muttered. If anything in the galaxy Kyle was scared no, terrified by is Bevel and Mara's death looks.
"Shuttle Adriam, this is Admiral Daala. Transmit your clearance codes now or you will be destroyed" the female voice said over the transmitter. "Transmitting codes now" Kyle replied. Kyle and the crew sat there very tense for what it seemed to be an eternity until Daala came over the speaker again "What is your cargo?" Kyle replied with "Kyber crystals and components for the Death Star." "They aren't going for it we have to pull back" Kyle said very tensely. "Have faith Kyle we haven't done anything to provoke them, to them we are just another shuttle with cargo" Jyn tried to calm Kyle. "Ok.... Ok. I still think that this isn't going to work" Kyle calmed himself.
"Why would the rebels hire you for such a hefty sum of credits if we thought this would be a death trap." Jyn said to Kyle. Kyle thought back to when Mon Mothma offered him this job for 12,000 credits. Kyle immediately accepted before he heard the details of the job and how much of a one way ticket to the jedi order this would be.
While Kyle was thinking, the imperials has cleared them to land at docking bay six two three. "They actually bought it? Wow" Kyle said amazed. "That was the easy part now we have to actually get the plans" Cassian told the group. "Page!" Cassian shouted "Captain!" Page replied "Are your commandos ready?" "Yes sir" "Very good" Page saluted the Captain as went down into the crew quarters to get his equipment. "Well, at least he sounds confident about this whole operation" Kyle muttered to himself.
Kyle didn't know what was happening by he knew that something would go wrong with this whole operation.
Ok Well, This my first attempt at a fan fic and hope whoever reads this will enjoy this series. Kyle is only gonna be in the next chapter but he'll be back when the New Republic is formed. Anyways please enjoy everyone.
