Life is something that is extremely complex and often people never understand just how precious, and how unique our personal lives all are. Everyone has a different story, and every day, the story has pages added. Do we remember absolutely everything? No. But what's most important are the ones we always do.
My life has been one of the biggest adventures. Although it may have started out very rough as the years went by. A lot of things that I never thought would happen to me, happened. And a lot even sparked controversy. But that's my past. And honestly, people change. And often for the better. Whether you're getting bullied, questioning yourself, or even just having a good life as it is, there are many adjustments we can make. And even sometimes we discover things about ourselves that we never even expected. This may just be my adventure through childhood and adolescence, but I've learned so much throughout it that I think it's worth it to share.
Do you ever just have memories of things that it physically hurts to think about? Memories of things that you wish never happened? I did. But overall I've come to the point that I have discovered that as horrible and humiliating as my story may be, it's something I've learned from, changed from, and can talk about comfortably now. There are different stages of grief: Discovering, enduring, adapting, and moving on. Each of these stages are something I've learned over time exist.
I used to think that because of my past, that would define who everyone on this planet thought I was. I was very wrong. And I know that bullying is extremely common in society now. Think of it this way: What those people are spitting at you? That's their OPINION. It doesn't make it a fact. It doesn't take overnight to realize it. It may take longer. But I just want to let you know, that just because someone says something doesn't make it true.
And this is where I will leave you, to hear my story. But do me a favor: Take some of what happened to me, and think about what's happening in your life. Is it similar? Different? And how do some of these lessons apply to your life?
Thank you for reading,
