Earthquake

Young tak wounded

it was nighttime so most doctors went to rest and the nurses who had a day shift switched with nurses for a night shift. that way everybody could rest. It was still chaotic outside. people looking for families or belongings. dead bodies on the ground, wounded people between those dead people. fire workers searching in collapsed buildings for survivors. people going to hospitals and school buildings for treatment or refugees. Seoul really looked horrible. this would take forever to build up again, even with international help.

The twins were both together they were wild awake even though they have been up for a long time. "neh why don't they make a special unit with some doctors and some fire workers to find survivors or to treat the wounded on spot. " Jeong-in suddenly said. " they want that but Yoo Young tak ajeoshi. he is the boss of this hospital, so they need permission from him." Min-jee answered. "why hasn't he given permission. " Jeong-in said in a little annoyed voice. "he has been missing he was going home when the earthquake happened and they haven't found him yet. he might even be dead or badly wounded. but its harder to search since there will be aftershocks coming sometimes." Min-jee said. "ya since when do you know so much about earthquakes." Jeong-in said surprised. "maybe you should pay attention to science class than you would know." she said and gave her brother a small hit on his arm. 

"hyung you should rest now you had so many operations, that it's not healthy." Dae-Gil said. "it's alright Dae-Gil it's our job plus, you should rest too." Hyung I have slept before you haven't slept. you even went outside in this mess twice, once for your siblings and once for Hyungjin. you really just need a sleep don't worry I will watch your siblings and Woo-sung will help me." Dae-Gil said while Woo-sung was walking inside. "wait what." Woo-sung said."you will help me watch hyungs siblings so he can sleep peacefully." Dae-Gil said while putting his arm around his shoulder. "alright I will take a rest but when something happens or if I am really needed to come to me instantly, alright. " Hae-sung said with a firm tone. "yes sir," both boys said. Hae-sung went away and into a room where the other doctors who were allowed to rest slept. 

"So why did you drag me into this." Woo-sung said. "because their Hyung is worried as fuck about them even though they can basically do everything a nurse can and maybe a little more. " Dae-Gil said. "thanks hyung." Jeong-in said. "where did you guys come from." Woo-sung said. "we were behind you all the time." Min-jee said. "wha so scary. ya, Dae-Gil why bring me to these scary twins." Woo-sung said. "well that's because we will go outside, the twins want to look for Yoo Young tak my boss." Dae-Gil said. "we want an expedition group so that the hospital won't be so packed. but we need his permission do that but since he is missing we will search for him. " Jeong-in and Min-jee said. "really how are you not scared of them? " Woo-sung asked. "believe me their brother is scarier if he knows what we will do," Dae-Gil said, while Min-jee and Jeong-in nodded in agreement. 

" I swear if I get hit by your brother, I will hit you both as hard as he would hit me. alright" Woo-Sung said. The twins agreed for it and Dae-Gil said that he would receive the hit too. The group went outside the hospital it was pretty late already so they saw a lot of people sleeping or making a fire to stay warm. "Dae-Gil Oppa do you know where Young tak ajeoshi lives. or know the route he usually takes to go home." Min-jee asked. "I do he lives pretty close by the hospital about 40 minutes walk. " Dae-Gil answered. "Close by. 40 minutes is a long walk that not close that's far, Hyung. " Jeong-in said while Woo-sung agreed. " I find it short though, Remember I walk almost the whole day so 40 minutes is nothing," Dae-Gil said. "Why are you complaining Jeong-in when we lived at our grandparent's home we walked that amount to go to school and back so we walked for 1 hour and 20 minutes for our first before moving," Min-jee said after Dae-Gil. " That has been so long ago." Jeong-in said. "stop complaining both of you!" Dae-Gil and Min-jee said. Woo-sung and Jeong-in both looked shocked at how the 2 were in sync, even Min-jee and Dae-Gil looked shocked at each other. "Well let's just continue the walk." Woo-sung said to break the awkward moment. 

After a while, they found a big hole in the ground. they were only half away from the destination. "Hyung shine your lantern in the hole there might be people trapped." Jeong-in asked to Woo-sung. Woo-sung did that. they only saw some corpses and some cars. "Wait Woo-sung shine to towards that car again." Dae-Gil asked. "that's my boss his car and I think there is someone inside." Dae-Gil said. " Well then let's get down there." Jeong-in said and almost going down before getting pulled back by his sister. "Are you crazy if you go down there without being tied to something you could get stuck there and than Dae-Gil Oppa, Woo-sung Oppa and I will be in big big trouble." Min-jee said. "I got some rope with me long enough to reach the car to check if he is alright. if it is him we can get my other colleges and we will be able to get him out safely. but only Dae-Gil is allowed to go down." Woo-sung said. A few minutes later Dae-Gil was going down with the rope around his waist and the other end was tight around Woo-sung waist while the twins stood in front of him holding the rope to be more secure. 

Dae-Gil almost reached the car. He was getting nervous about what if his boss was dead. He opened the door and saw his boss still breathing but very faint. he tried to check where he was wounded and saw blood close around his neck. He went away from his boss and closer to the group. He told them what he saw. " Young Tak is wounded around his head. We most likely need Hae-sung  to check him and also the fire department." Dae-Gil said.  The Group nodded and pulled Dae-Gil up.

Woo-sung and Jeong-in went to get the fire department and Hae-sung and some nurses while the Dae-Gil and Min-jee stayed behind. " Min-jee is it true what you said to Hyunjin about me and you that accident with your brother?" Dae-Gil asked when the other boys were far enough to ask.  "what do you mean Oppa?" Min-jee asked. "I heard you talking with Hyunjin about why you like me. But is it really true?" Dae-Gil said. "You heard that! WHY did you hide yourself you should have shown yourself. listing to other conversations is rude to do." Min-jee said. "I know, I just wanted to know alright. " Dae-Gil said. "It was true what I said to Hyunjin. I really like you Oppa and I know we will never get something as you are 20 and I'm just 12 we are 8 years apart. but that doesn't mean my crush on you will fade." Min-jee confessed. Dae-Gil thought she was very mature for her age even saying something like that, he never heard someone of that age say that. " You know even though we're 8 years apart you got the mindset of someone at least 18 years old. you know what's right the best out of your brothers. and you also know that even though we have an age gap it wouldn't become something but hey 8 years is barely anything. before you know it your 21 and I would be 29 than age would just be a number. Your really mature Min-jee thats why people like you." Dae-Gil said to Min-jee and gave her a hug. Min-Jee got flustered by what Dae-Gil said. 

the two sat there waiting for the others to show up. both of them got shy after their little conversation. After a little while, they saw the others show up.
