that's why I do it!
Everyone else bullies Tyler,
that's why I do it!
Everyone else vapes,
that's why I do it!
Everyone else litters,
that's why I do it!
Everyone else shoplifts,
that's why I do it.
If everyone else does it,
that I must do it!
Everyone else listens to that type of music!
I don't really like it, but everyone else does.
So I must pretend like I do.
Everyone else thinks Tyler is weird because he's different.
I feel bad for Tyler, but I must pretend like I think he's weird.
Because I don't want people to think I'm weird like Tyler.
I used like Tyler, he's nice.
But the others don't like Tyler.
So that's why I don't like Tyler,
because nobody else does!
Everyone else fights after school,
I don't like fighting but everyone else does,
so I must fight to.
If everyone else says something I need to say "me too"
to show them that I'm no different,
I'm not like poor Tyler.
If nobody else finds their true passion because they are following the leader than I must too,
because everybody else doesn't feel complete.
I can't go my own way,
I can't be myself,
I can't leave the group,
I can't give my opinion,
I can't talk to Tyler,
I can't be like Tyler,
I need to be like everyone else.
No matter what they do.
Because if we all truthfully answered "If your friends all jumped off a cliff would you?",
the chances are, most of us would say yes.
