I'm trying to finish this book so enjoy another update. 🧸❤️ I honestly forgot everything I wanted this book to be about I feel like I procrastinated so much that the book is Low key all over the place but at the same time it's still cool I think it's just because I'm not really interested in Jaele like I used to be back in 2017.. any-who hope y'all really liked this book because there's only 1 more chapter left ______________
It was now night time, everyone gathered around the campfire on the roof talking while making s'mores . Good thing the roof had a pavilion to get away from the Snow.
Riele and Jace sat together making roasting their marshmallows.
Jace: Riele meet me in the backyard after the bon fire Riele: why ? Jace: i have something to tell you Riele: alright
The rest of the night Jace and Riele hung out with Cree, Milan and Lizzy. Dancing , eating and talking with the other students at the lodge
Jace seemed to be kicking it off with a green eyed girl in the corner which kind of ticked off Riele for some reason.
Riele sat in the chairs with Milan and watched Jace and the girl talk in the corner
Milan: you jealous Riele: kind of I don't know why though Milan: isn't it obvious... you like him Riele: no I don't.. well Milan: you guys faking being a couple makes you think about what It would be like if y'all actually dated. His lips must taste good y'all kiss a lot for a fake couple ( Milan pokes Riele's side) Riele: shut up they do taste ( she nudges Milan's shoulder while laughing) but at least Luna leaves us alone now ever since she started talking to Kyle they both weird so they fit each other Milan: don't give Kyle to much he lowkey lot , if you like Jace that much you should go ever there and get your man Riele: milannn what am I supposed to say Milan: walk over there and pull him away and kiss him I'm sure he'll get the message Riele: this is not a movie I don't wanna go over there kiss him in front of her and look stupid because she's his friend or worse cousin and they're talking about something like homework Milan: then ask her to borrow him then kiss him Riele: but w- Milan: shut up but nothing stop being a punk and go up there Rie Riele: ok geez
Riele walks over to Jace and the green eyed girl, when she reaches over there she hears the girl laughing at something he said
" So he got jokes " she thinks to herself
Riele walks over to them and wraps her arm around jaces waist.
Riele: hey Jace Jace: hey Rie
Jace looked at Riele with a amused smile on his face
Riele: hi who are you Kim: I'm Kim Jace: yea this is Kim she's in my gym class we're closeee friends ( he says smiling at Riele waiting for a reaction ) Kim: ehhh Riele: oh cool.... Kim do you mind if I take Jace away for a sec Kim: sure he's your boyfriend after all Riele: thanks
Riele pulls Jace away by the arm until they reach the balcony
Jace: so is there a reason why you wanted to pull me away ( he smiles ) Riele: I had to tell you something Jace: I definitely wanna hear what it is Riele: uhh so um how are you liking the snow Jace: mhm are you sure that's what you wanted to ask Riele: uh um yea Jace: I guess I'll go back to talking to Kim ... unless your jealous-
Before Jace can say anything else Riele grabs Jaces face and their lips connect
The taste of cherry Riele was longing for was in her reach again and she wasn't letting go any time soon.
The two passionately kisses as Jace held her chin with his hands Riele brought her hands up and touched his hair as their kiss deepened. The world around them faded as they engulfed into each other's warm hands their mouths still connected.
It was as though they'd been super glued together nothing was releasing them
They then pulled away looking at each other in the eyes
The corner of jaces mouth made a side smile as he looked at Riele
Jace: if you wanted to kiss me you could've just asked me Riele: oh shut up Jace: so from what I understand you were jealous Riele: maybe.. what was it you wanted to tell me earlier you said you wanted to tell me something Jace: I was gonna ask to um..... um ... make uh snow angels ... yea snow angels Riele: your a bad liar Jace: I'll tell you another time Riele: alright but I'm im gonna take you up on the snow angels offer Jace: your so childish let's go
The two take off running down the stairs of the house which almost caused Riele to lose a tooth . The two run out the front door and drop down into the snow
Jace: I was debating on whether or not I should push you out of the way when we were running Riele: you would've fell with me ! If I go down you go down Jace: you wouldn't get the chance you hold onto my arm Riele: says who
The two best friends stay outside playing in the snow for about half a hour until they went back inside the house and made hot chocolate.
They decided to stay up and watch Cardi B s Netflix show " Rhythm & Flow ".
They ended up falling asleep together on the couch. Riele's head on jaces chest and his arm around her.
