The night dragged on. My sketchbook became filled with the small doodles. I drew every dream I had with him. Every adventure we faced together. I missed it all. Why had he just left me like that? I'm not worth it.
The sound of my alarm indicated that it was 6 am. The night had passed and it was time for school. I got up and went about as usual.
I could barely pay attention to any of my teachers at school. All I could think about was his disappearance. Even though he's not even real, I feel like some part of me died.

Once back at home, I was contemplating whether to sleep or not. "Would he be there? ...or not?" I thought. Curiosity got the best of me and I closed my eyes and prayed he would be there. I awoke in the abandoned school, still blurry-eyed from the tears. I sat up and wiped my eyes. I looked around. It was quite dark and growing cold. I stood up.
I clinged to hope as I searched the last floor for him. I entered each classroom in hopes of seeing him. Nothing. He was not in the school. He could not be found anywhere.

I left the abandoned building, and with one last glance to see if he was waiting for me outside of the school, I headed towards the town. I was so confused.
I walked through the dark field. The cold wind blew through my hair. I shivered. It was getting colder and colder. The wind did not seem to want to stop. My eyes watered by the amount of wind hitting them. I stopped and curled up in a ball just shy of the empty town.
I rubbed my arms in hope of warming myself up.

"Wake up... come on... just open your eyes... wake up... " I was telling myself over and over again.

I did not wake up. I stayed in the dream world. I stood up and ran into the dark abandoned town. The wind no longer bothered me. A hum broke the silence in the town. It came from the distance.
Why was everything so creepy? I trembled in fear as the hum became louder. Someone was humming a little tune and they were approaching me from the darkness.
I screamed. It didnt sound like him, so it had to be someone else. I had no intention of finding out who this was.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!! PLEASE JUST WAKE UP!!" I screamed.

I began pulling my eyelids. Forcing my eyes open even wider.

"WAKE UP!!!!!!"

I flashed awake. I was out of breath and terrified. I never wanted to sleep again. It was hell! He was gone and my dreams became more and more nightmare-like. I vowed to never sleep again and got up to go do my homework.
