Ben looked at me with such sorrowful eyes as he tapped my hand, "Thank you my dear." Jules left the room and I slipped my fingers through his, intertwining them. "Your cheek is looking much better." he looked at my face and I nodded, "I think its almost healed up."
"Good." He looked at the bags that he had placed on the bed. "Oh, I have gotten you something..." he pulled out a lovely (f/c) dress out of the bag and a pair of shoes. My eyes widened in shock, "What is this for?"
"For our date tonight. Put these on and meet me downstairs."
"Right now?" I asked.
"Yes, right now." he chuckled. I sat there and stared at the outfit in awe, "What's wrong?" he asked seeing the expression on my face.
"I feel like I'm being treated like a princess."
"Is that a bad thing?" he asked with a big smile on his face. I looked up at him and smiled too, "I guess not."
"That's the spirit." he placed the items in my hands and left so I could change. It was a white polka dotted dress with (f/c) dots that decorated it along with matching shoes. I took a look in the mirror and gasped. He sure loves to see his lady in a dress. I kind of fell into a little girl moment, twirling and giving curtsies in the mirror. I'm just glad no one was there to see me goof off.
After I was done flirting with the mirror, I descended the steps and saw Ben standing in a gorgeous suit. "So, Where are we going?" I asked taking his arm. He looked like he had just taken in his last breath.
"You look exquisite." he said.
"Well, I do have an amazing stylist who dresses me." I said. He smiled and offered his arm and we left.
Jules sat there and watched us leave, "Well, lets see what Milo is up to." she texted him, "Hey want to hang out?"
"Sure. You at home?" he replied.
"Yeah, come on over."
"On my way."

I stood there staring up at the huge, Ferris wheel in front of me. "The eye?"
"Yeah. Have you not been on it yet?"
"No, I cannot say that I have, I'm afraid of heights." I shivered looking at the wheel again.
"Oh. I was looking forward to showing you the top of London."
"That's okay. We can still get on it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. You always say that I have been cowering in fear too long, so why not?"
"Stop it."
"What? What did I say?"
"If you keep talking I fear I may fall in love with you." he pressed a finger to his lips. "shhh."
I laughed and playfully shoved him, "Come on Casanova, lets get on."
"Alright then."
We boarded the Eye and it rose slowly in the air, it seemed that every inch it got higher, the tighter I gripped Ben's hand. "Come and see the view, love."
He gently led me to the edge and I shut my eyes. He chuckled a little and whispered in my ear, "You cant see the view unless you open your eyes."
I shook my head and smiled, leaning against him, "Fine, I was hoping to kiss you up here but..."
"ugh okay fine..." I opened my eyes to see the whole city of London below me. It shined like gold, "Wow."
"Its gorgeous isn't it?" he asked.
"Yes, it is."
He slowly turned me around to kiss me, oh...it felt like I was soaring through air, my heart full of anxiety melted into warm desire. "You are unbelievably brave." he whispered to me.
"And you are unbelievably sweet." I hugged his neck and he stared into my (e/c) eyes like they were two glowing moons sparkling in the twilight. A sense of seriousness cut through the air like a sword as I thought back on the events of today. It was as if I were looking through a window, witnessing the problems that had unfolded today and yet unaffected.
Being on the outside looking in. I looked up at the enchanting man in front of me. Anyone in the world would think that he was too old for me or that it was wrong to date my choir teacher. But it felt as if it didn't matter in the least. No opinion could shoot me down and make me feel insecure. No problem that unfolded today could cripple me from being on this high cloud of elation. I was happy, and this man made all the worries erase, all the whispers silence...how could he do that?
"What is it darling?" he asked noticing me staring at him in profound fascination. I opened my mouth to speak but no words formed on the first try. "I am just so..." I couldn't find the right words if I tried. He was perfect and this very moment created in time, was pure perfection. Words would've ruined the feeling and the atmosphere that radiated around us. "Nothing."
I laid my head on his chest, searching for the heartbeat that gave this man life to be with me.
