As much as some of us try to deny it, we all know that there are clearly defined high school social groups.

You have your jocks and your jock groupies. The ones who seem be in every conversation wether they are there or not

Then you have your populars. The pretty boys with their Sperrys who wouldn't dare to play sports, and the girls with the stereotypical "white girl" personally, who always seem to get away with wearing leggings while the rest of us can't.

After this it's basically a battle for dominance. There's the racial groups, the nerds, the ROTC kids, the potheads, the drama dorks, the artists, the bullies, plus many more. Then there's us.

The band nerds.

We're the ones who annoy others by singing our competition show in class, or by constantly drumming a new rhythm on our desks.

To outsiders it seems that we're just one big, happy, band family, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

I, Hannah Stevenson, invite you into the life of a band nerd. To see what actually goes on within the confinements of those oh so secluded practice rooms.

But let me warn you, once you enter through that band hall door, there's no turning back.

You've reached the end of published parts.
