Royal Pains (Taekook)

Chapter 1

Many  years ago there was a prophecy  that  in the Jeon clan there will be born  a child, different from the  rest.Very special  in his own  way.He  was  destined  to bring  fame and  great  fortunate to his  clan.The child would be  beautiful  than the  rest  and very  attractive.

Everyone who heard of this prophecy had  assumed  that  the child would be  a girl but it was  a boy instead which was a great shock. With his birth came  the  death of his mother. The  Jeon  clan leader and the father of the child was devastated. He  didn't  know  if he would  ever  be  able  to love  the  child that had killed his  wife.

Jungkook grew up very  much aware that  his father resented  him although  he didn't show  it.Like the  prophecy  had said the  clan was  prosperous and had a lot  of wealth. They  became the wealthiest clan in the whole kingdom  and at some point surpassing even the royal family.

Jeon Jungkook attracted trouble and  a lot of drama.He  brought shame and  worry  to his  father. He was scandalous and always found a way to  slip away from his father's  gaurds that were always watching him. It was inexcusable. At  the age of 21 ,his father was  already  considering  marrying  him off and of course there was a huge line up of suitors for him.

Meanwhile Kim Taehyung 27 ,the second prince of the kingdom was already  actively  involved in the diplomatic affairs  of the state. He was  very  obedient and never defied his parents. He  was  likely  the  right  candidate  of the throne rather than his older brother  who wanted nothing to do with  any  of it.His father told him that they were considering  fixing his marriage  with  the  Jeons. Taehyung  being the  obedient son that he was didn't ask anything further and retired to his quarters.

Jin was the master of gossip in the whole kingdom. He was ominous. Although he wasn't there he heard  already heard their father  talking to Taehyung. He guessed that his younger brother  needed  a pep so he went  to his room.He  knocked on his door holding a case  of beers and Taehyung  couldn't turn  him away.

"So I heard  you are getting married. How do you feel about it"Jin asked after finishing his first bottle.

"I didn't know  Mr Jeon has  a daughter "

"He  dosent "

Taehyung was livid "You  mean. .....No way"

"You are getting married  to his  one and only  son"Jin winked.

"Him?But  he is a wrecked train. Everybody  knows this. Why  me?What have  I done to father. ?Jeon Jungkook, the  tabloids are  all about him  and even  the  gossip columns. He  is a celebrity  literally but not in a  good sense  "

"Have  you ever wondered if those tabloids could be  false .I didn't know that you of all people  had been paying  attention to him "

"What  do you mean? "Taehyung 's eyes narrowed.

"I'm saying  you  can go and check out  what  you  are  getting  yourself  into "

"What's the use anyways. My fate is sealed. I'm  going  to die with that  excuse of a human being "Taehyung sighed deeply.

"I was thinking  you  go and have  fun for  a while. Go undercover and check him out. "

"And why should  I waste  my time on him? "

"You don't have anything  to do anyways. Just think  of it as a vacation "

"So what  do you have in mind. ?"Taehyung perked up.Looking interested  all of a sudden.

"I heard  that  Mr Jeon had hired security from different  companies  for Jungkook but he managed to give each one of them  a slip and they got fired  for it."
