Zayn POV

- Are you sure he is alright? All he is doing is staying in bed all day, crying. Last time he ate was two days ago Liam.

- Shhh Louis, you will wake him up.

- I'm already awake idiots. What did I do to deserve Louis so early in the morning already? Think I prefer to live with my father.

- Ha-Ha mate, very funny. No seriously you shouldn't say that.

- I'm fine Louis. Stop worrying about me.

- Come on pretty boy. Stop being sad and shit. You are finally saved from your father. Everything is gonna be alright. We could go to the movies tonight, what do you think Liam.

- It's a good idea. You need to get out of that room Zee. 

- Will you shut up and let me sleep if I agree to go with you?

- Of course.

- Ok then, now leave.

I heard Liam sigh but he left anyway.

- It won't bring him back you know?

Louis said not moving from his spot beside me on the bed.

- What are you talking about?

- Liam told me, about Harry. Being mad at us won't bring him back. Don't let the people who care for you down because he left.

- I know... It's just... hard.

- You're better than that. I'm sure any guy would count himself lucky to have you in his life.

He said his blue eyes staring deep into mine. I caughed a little uncomfortable.

- Thanks Louis but I'm just a loser. Nobody like losers.

- Don't say that. I think you are a proper lad.

I blushed and looked away. I hated receiving attention.

I turned my back to him and hugged my pillow. I didn't feel like talking. I thought Louis would leave but no. He stay there. Just sitting on my bed playing with my hair. He didn't talk for a while which I was thankful for.

- You're my brother now, Zayn. Just like Liam, I will do everything I can to make you feel better.

Suddenly I got it. Louis wasn't flirting. He was trying to protect me. To be nice. It didn't even crossed my mind that Louis could be an amazing brother, I always considered him as Liam's older brother, the guy who was annoying all the time. But there was this other side of him I didn't know. The caring Louis.

I could get used of having a family. To have brothers.

But I want Harry and Luke as my family.

What if Jason is hurting them again? What if they have to runaway again, leaving me behind. I wouldn't survive. The only thing that was keeping me alive was the hope that Harry would change his mind.
