Do your research. Look at people a year older than you and see what they wore to it. Ask your friends and people who are going. You don't want to be the one person in jeans or alternatively the only one in a skirt. Although should this happen, own it. Set a trend! Maybe on the next night out everyone will be wearing jeans!
Shop. Shop around before settling. Dont pay outrageous money for something in American Apparel when you can get more for your money in H&M. Avoid the everything for a tenner shops because the likelihood of everyone in the venue having the same to as you is huge.
Comfort. Lastly, don't go for jeans if you think you'll be too hot. Dont wear a belly top if you're not comfortable with showing off your stomach. Wear something that you feel comfortable in and your night will be better and that will reflect on how the boys see you. Dont wear anything overly slutty but there's no need to be a nun either go for in the middle, especially if it's your first time.
