~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I take one last look around my room, or well my old room. Let me explain where I am and what I'm talking about. My name is Lucy, but everyone calls me Lu, Lucky, or Luck. I'm 16, Pansexual (I don't care what gender the person is I love people for their personality), and I'm a very lucky person if you can't tell. I love to read, write, sing, play my flute, and practice my magic, don't tell anyone I said that though! They don't believe that magic is real.
"LUCY GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" My dad, Brian, called. "AND BRING YOUR SISTER WITH YOU!" Who is my sister you may ask, well the answer to the question would be Zaley. She's 17 and the best sister I could ever ask for, she also just so happens to be a lesbian.
I woke her up from her slumber genially, "Zales~ We have to go. Brian wants to talk to us." I frowned as I said the last part.
"Ok, when are we leaving?"
"Tonight, midnight. We should get down there."
"Ok. Lets go."
"What took you two shit-heads so long to get down here?!?!" Brian yelled at us.
"She had to wake me up." Zaley said quickly trying to save our asses.
"Ok, fine this one time!" Brian said, well yelled. Our mom died when I was 3 and Zaley was 4. She died in a house fire. I don't want to talk about it. After getting our heads yelled off we were able to go back to our room. We grabbed our bags packed with all our belongings, as we didn't have many, and opened our 1st floor window, everything but our room and the kitchen/dining room is in the basement. As we set our bags outside the window we saw a car drive by and we sayed in that position till we saw it's lights fade into the darkness.
"Come on, Zales, let's go. I'll be glad to leave this tiny Michigan house." I said to my sister using the nickname I had grown accustomed to using.
"I'm coming!" She said after I got out. She then handed me our small Husky pup, Nala. I grabbed her from my big sisters open arms. I helped her out of the tight space both of us fitting easily since neither of us had had a real meal in years. We ran town to town for about 4 or 5 months, give or take. We looked at one of the 'You are here!' maps. "What the actual fuck? How the hell are we in New York!?!?!" Zaley exclaimed.
"I don't know." I said. "Well we have been running from Brian for almost 6 months." I said. We kept walking our feet sore as could be. Nala started to bark at my side fed up with her leash. "I know girl, I know you want me to take it off of ya. But I can't" I saw a school hoping that maybe we could get in and Brian wouldn't find us as easily. I taped Zaleys shoulder, "Zales~ Look"
"Oh yeh nice idea!" She said as it started to pour down we ran to the school not only to get out of the rain but also for obvious reasons.
"Oh hello girls. Are you here to apply?" The Secretary asked us.
"Uh, Yeh!" Zaley and I said at the same time.
"Ok here's the entrance exam." She said giving us a thick-ish packet.
I leafed through the packet looking at the amount of questions, 100. "Holy crap Zales there's a hundred questions." I competed the book of questions in under an hour. "Here you go." I gave it to her. Zaley soon finished as she got the results from our tests.
"Congratulations to you both for getting into Guken Academy."
"YES~!" Me and Zaley exclaimed at the same time.
"Here's your room key, a map, and your schedules. Oh and I need to get you two fitted for uniforms. After getting fitted we were almost done in the office. "I didn't catch your names." She added with a smile after handing us our uniforms.
"Mines Lucy and this's my sister Zaley." I told her gesturing to me and my sister.
"Hello Lucy and Zaley. My name's Nicole. Good luck at Guken." She told us. "Oh and I forgot to tell you pets are allowed here." She replied to Nala's barking with a smile.
"Thanks Nicole and this is Nala." I told her as I gestured towards my pup.
"It was nice meeting you. Goodbye Nala. And I have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll meet. Well you best be off." And with that we left to go find our room, number 124
