Chapter 4
Still holding his lifeless body tears flowed down my face as I looked into his still open eyes, shaking my head I brought my hand to Daniel's face sliding his eyes closed. Taking one last look at him I stood up and walked over to Nick questioning him about his leg, apparently in the time that I was with Daniel everyone got the knife out of his leg and bandaged it to the best of their abilities.
"So are we going to dig him a grave or just leave him out to rot?"
Blank face present not too pleased with the situation, especially with the daunting fact that what happened to Daniel could happen to us or worse.
After getting over how much work it would take all of us pitched in with digging out a hole that would for now have to pass as a grave. None of were proud that what happened happened and that we are now resorting to digging each others graves.
Once we had finished we placed Daniel in carefully inside crossing his arms over his chest and putting what little flowers we found in the base of his hands. The boys taking more time than us to let Daniel go since their connection had been a lot stronger than us.
In the end we piled the dirt on top of his lifeless body giving him our final farewell and then walked back to the plain sitting in an uncomfortable silence. Me alone in a corner, my sisters and Lilly sitting together, while Nick and Simon were already asleep on the floor closer to the door.
Looking out of the busted window I sat there in silence allowing the sound of the dark forest engulf me from the frequent bird, the annoying sound of crickets, and the water flowing from a stream near by.
Not being able to go to sleep I put my mind to good use in hopes of finding a way of getting out of this horrid place but no avail I couldn't think of anything. Frustrated I laid on the ground closing my eyes hoping to fall asleep with the rest.
Apparently not realizing just how tired I was sleep immediately took over me.

"Finally, it took forever for you people to fall asleep."
Getting up and exiting the plain I headed into the thick trees making sure to make landmarks just incase I got lost.
Walking for what felt like...too long I reached a clearing. Grass tall and flowing from the light wind that blew through, the moon shining its brilliant rays making each blade of grass glow, random flowers sprouted across the field coming in all colors and sizes...
The beauty of it all amazes me, but there was only one thing that tainted the glory of the field - my boss. The one and only queen, the assassins queen, and the one person I have a serious bone to pick with.
My voice dripping with anger I stalked up to her "Well explain yourself." immediately interrogating her on the bull crap she has just pulled.
Turning around all I saw was the the top half of her face, nothing really popping out other than her electric blue eyes and the scar that stood under the left one. Body slim, curves accentuated with her tight clothing, and out of what I have seen could be described as beautiful.
But don't let the body fool you she is no person that should be tampered with, for not only will she be after you but the millions of goonies that she has at her disposal.
Chuckling before hand she finally croaks out "Oh honey, what on Earth could you be talking about?"
The corner of her mask moving up indicating to me that she was smirking beneath that mask of hers.
"Do not play me as a fool, explain yourself!"
In one swift movement she threw a knife missing my head by a few mer inches. Eyes wide and mouth flung open I turn to her, her eyes now scowling at me as if I was beneath her, scum at the bottom of her shoe even.
"I am the boss, you shall not speak to me so ill-mannered again. Am I clear?"
Not being able to move let alone give her an answer I stood there frozen, only snapping out of it as she yelled
"Am I clear!"
Scared I mumble "Crystal,"
"But with all do respect you never said the project I was working on was going to be committed on my sisters, their friend and I. And I want to know why, what was the purpose I dragging me into this I have been a loyal member for yea-'
Interrupted with a bored tone the queen spoke "Exactly why you need to go. You have been around for too long and you have gotten too far in my secretes,"
Stalking up to me grabbing my chin making me look into her cold eyes "and we can't have that now can we?"
Chuckling to let go she walked back past her spot onto the edge of the cliff ready to jump
"Wait! Ok I can see myself but why them their innocent."
Turning her head smiling behind her mask she spoke her last words before she jumped off into the deep waters below
"Entertainment. Why else child?"
Enraged I walked to the edge to see if she was still there but alas she had already disappeared.
Slouching onto a nearby tree, laying my hands into the palm of my hands letting out an exaggerated sigh I crunched into a ball and stayed that way for a short duration before I heard the crunching of leaves which was soon followed by the sight of Simon.
And in an enraged tone he spoke up saying "It was you?"
Shock running through my veins, adrenaline pumping through my body I bolted up immediately trying to explain and defend myself but before I could even get a word out he cut me off.
"You have no excuse, nothing can make up for what you've done. And I mean yeah I haven't known you for long but really, your sisters and one of your closest friends, do they really mean so little to you. And because of you I lost one of my good friends, you she be ashamed!"
"I am but-"
"No buts this is unforgivable!"
His eyes darkened with anger, his fingers curling into fist, and his stance intimidating Simon came across his words leaving no room for a debate
"You have 24 hours to tell the rest."
Turning around to leave I grab his arm only for him to snatch it out of my grasp his eyes glowering down at me
"And if you don't I will. Am I clear?"
