Chapter: Prologue

That's Avery, the main character, up top.

Tina screamed as another one of the barriers to the playroom broke- more zombies were breaking through.

UnicornMann: "This is as your fault Ryan!"

Ryan: "Me!?"

UnicornMann: "If you would just stay out of my lab none of this would happen!"

Ryan: "Well how was I supposed to know that you were working on something to do with zombies!?"

Tina shrieked as the barricade next to her snapped- she stabbed at the zombie and bit her lip before looking towards Goldy.

Tina: "Goldy- if we die... I want you to know... I- I think you're an okay person!"

Tina shouted- before getting dragged into the hoard of zombies. Goldy's eyes widened and she feared up slightly.

Goldy: "Tina!"

Goldy ran into the hoard and Ryan called after her- he was going to go after them- but zombies surrounded him and UnicornMann. UnicornMann and Ryan's backs touched and they glanced at each other- they nodded and started fighting off the zombies as best as they could.

With Tina and Goldy~

Tina and Goldy stood back to back- Goldy was extremely scared and Tina was growing even more angry. As the first zombie ran forward it didn't get very far before an orange lightsaber stabbed through it's chest. As the zombie fell a brown blur passed Tina and stabbed the zombie that was coming towards Goldy.

???: "Get down!"

Tina and Goldy hit the floor on their stomachs- the blur spun around in a circle, slicing all of zombies in half. Finally the blur stopped and Tina and Goldy looked up to notice a girl in a brown puppy dog onesie holding an orange colored lightsaber. The girl's eyes were two different shades of blue and one of her pupils were white. She wore a red collar around her neck with a silver star for a tag. The tag on her collar read "Avery". Goldy instantly got up and clung to Avery's side.

Avery: "Woah- okay then! Hello!"

Goldy clung to Avery's side as the tears finally spilled from her eyes.

Goldy: "You saved our lives!"

The girl pulled Goldy into a comforting embrace. Tina quickly grew angry about this, why should this stranger get all of the credit? Tina huffed before turning away. She was going to walk out of the room but Goldy's voice stopped her.

Goldy: "Tina? Where are you going?"

Tina: "Anywhere besides here with you."

Goldy: "Wha-? Tina c'mon! What about what you said earlier?"

Tina: "We're saved now- so it means nothing."

Tina huffed and walked outside of the room, she ran up the stairs in time to see Ryan and UnicornMann finishing off the last zombie. Before any of them got a word out Avery ran up the stairs carrying Goldy on her back. Goldy laughed and lightly kicked Avery's side.

Goldy: "Haha! Yeah! Banana bros!"

Avery smiled and ran towards the costume closet with great speed, Goldy waited outside and then Avery walked out of the closet with a banana suit on over her puppy dog onesie. Goldy went in and Avery waited patiently by the door, soon Goldy walked out in a Banana suit and they started to naruto-run all over the playroom of the daycare. Once they both stopped Goldy turned to Avery with an evil smile.

Goldy: "Wanna go build a giant banana in the backyard?"

Avery: "Psh- What kind of a question is that!? Who wouldn't want to!?"

Once Goldy and Avery were out of the room Ryan turned towards Tina while UnicornMann just stared at where Goldy and Avery left through the window- leaving a giant hole in the glass.

Ryan: "Soooo, Who is she?"

Tina: "I honestly don't know- she just kind of showed up and and saved me and Goldy from the zombies downstairs... the tag on her collar says 'Avery' though. So that's what I've been calling her."

UnicornMann: "Ryan..."

Ryan: "Yeah?"

UnicornMann: "I resign from cleaning duty."

Ryan: "Okay. Soooooo, wanna go try some random potions on left over zombies?"

UnicornMann: "Sure, let's go."

Tina sat in shock as she watched Avery and Goldy through the broken glass window. A large structure now blocked the sun from entering through the large windows of the daycare- it was an enormous banana. On top of it sat Avery and Goldy, they were just talking and laughing. Tina groaned and slumped to the floor.

Tina: "Great. Now there's two of them."

Tina pulled out the walkie talkie that connected her with her beloved Slingshot Squad.

Tina: "Everyone listen up! We have a new target as well as Goldy. Her name is Avery, she wears a dog onesie and a red collar. She also owns an orange lightsaber. Stay on the lookout."
