Point of view: Sam

There I am again, sitting on my bed. Cold sweat is running down my back and my heart is racing.
Just like in the other nightmares.

The creature is standing next to my bed. I can feel it staring at me.
Just like in the other nightmares.

[ Move. Why can't I move? Come on move!! ]

... Nothing.

It just won't work. But the curiosity is killing me.

[ Try harder. I need to know what's watching me. Maybe it will end the recurring nightmare... ]

I get a tingly feeling in my neck as I turn my head to face the creature. Like my body is telling me I've made a mistake.

My heart sinks into my boots. Then it's beating like crazy. The sight of it makes me shiver.

A tall goat creature with long twisted horns and red eyes without pupils. Yet it does have similarities with a human. It has a deadly dark aura, it's horrific.

My mind is completely empty for a moment. Then, there's just one thought being repeated in my head.

[ R U N . ]

The goat man keeps staring at me. My body refuses to move. It's not possible anymore. I'm stuck.

[ ... Does.. It not even blink or something? ]

I think about what to do now.

[ Maybe talking will work? Trying won't hurt, right?.. ]

No sooner said than done. I try hard to force words out of my dry throat.

[ Damn.. This is harder than moving... ]

My voice is trembling when I finally made it.

» Go away. And do not come back. «

These few words were extremely exhausting for me to say. The goat man takes one step closer. I can hear its hooves on the wooden floor. His gaze does not leave my eyes. It lays one of his furry big hands on the top of my head.
I immediately feel dizzy and everything goes black.
