I blinked, he was gone. Shane Nohidimi, I'll remember that name. But for now, let's just get the rest of the day over with.

The day went by like lightning in a thunderstorm, with Shane being the clouds that cause the rain to then pour thoughts and feelings into my brain. No! Stay focused, let's just get home. I put in my headphones and listened to my music, it was all clean focus, until I was about 3 roads away. I heard the rustling down an alleyway, the sound was so loud I could hear it through my music, and so with curiosity on the brain I decided to go down the alleyway. I turned a few corners, hopped a few fences and at the exit I saw him. Shane.

I hid around the corner to observe his next move. "I know you're there!" Wh-What? How did he know I was here. Defeated, I turn to leave. "Why are you following me?" He appeared right in front of me. "Ho-How did you?" I asked Shane in confusion. At this point, everywhere I turned he was right in front of me. "I have intense reflexes and a sense of when people are around." He said this in such a stern but confident voice, it made my heart flutter. "So what are you doin' here?" He questioned me. I simply responded with "I can ask you the same thing. What are you doing here?" The amount of sass and sarcasm put into that almost broke me. I tripped over and fell into his arms, I felt so flustered I went stiff. I didn't move for what felt like a good 30 seconds before Shane spoke up "You-You ok?" As soon as I heard that, I composed myself . "Never been better!" I felt so embarrassed in that situation.

"Well, you've already fallen into my arms and spied on me. I might as well take you home, how's that?" I heard that and my heart skipped a few beats. A blush grew on my face. "S-Sure. I'd like that." The next thing I know, he's walking me home. The silence was awkward, which made it seem like a lifetime, but I felt safe.

A few minutes go past and we arrive at my house, I thank Shane for walking me home and enter my house. "Did that just happen?" I pinch myself to double check. This was real, 100%. I felt a little weak, but I was able to stand well enough to get myself changed. That was all I could muster, I ended up ordering pizza that night, the sight of a meal that wasn't home cooked made me feel disgusting. I decided to ease the pain with sweet slumber. But that guy, he seems...

...interesting
