The snow felt warm as it melted with each step she took. Marcus had told her that they were near. Her nerves are very high. There are too many vampires at the battlefield that drink human blood. What if they lose control? What will happen when Cauis and Aro see Mya? Many thoughts crossed her mind.

Marcus saw how lost she was in her thoughts and said, "Stella don't worry, no harm will come to you or your child." She was about to answer but decided not to. She hugged Mya, who for once was looking around. She seemed to be intrigued by the snow and how it glimmered with the rays of the sun.

Before they emerged to the battlefield, Esther hid behind Marcus. Marcus stopped her, he took off his cloak, and tied it around her to cover her from the cold.

"Thank you, Marcus," she replied in a low voice. Her face must be a deep shade of red rights now. He caressed her cheek with two fingers and smiled, "no need to thank me, mio caro."

                 ——-little time skip———

Marcus held his mate close to his body as she hid herself and her child with his cloak. Her heart beat was calm though he sensed that she was nervous. As soon as they got through the clearing— he saw Alice.  And Aro in deep thought.

What the Cullen girl had showed him through her visions he saw many loopholes. As if her vision was forced for a better ending. But in this battle he didn't see his brother nor his mate were her visions illusions.

Too many thoughts ran through Aro's mind. How can one be so naive yet at this age many have tried to bargain themselves from death and have gotten nowhere. And here she was risking everything for a newborn and her child an immortal child that apparently has grown. The Denali sister blinded by anger had met her end for her stupidity. Now a number of vampires and shapeshifters stand against us for their actions. These brave souls will meet their end soon and I will start with Alice and Edward.

The air grew thicker for Alice hadn't seen that there had been a change nor she had seen that Marcus was no longer with them. Aro's grip on Alice tightened and Jasper growled.

"Now Mrs. Cullen do you take me as a fool," said Aro. His features changed and the field grew silent. Alice tried to move away from his grasp though as her struggles became harsher her skin cracked and her hand fell to the snow. She hissed and fell to the ground clutching her hand to her chest. Jasper's eyes had turned completely black as he broke free from the guards grasp he charged towards Aro. Aro glanced at Alec and black mist started to spread around Aro and just before he reached Aro the mist had swallowed him into darkness.

A giggle echoed through the battle field catching everyone's attention and there in the edge of the woods stood Marcus with a hooded figure. And peaking out of the cloak was a child with big brown eyes.
