" do what ? " jeongyeon asked
" the surgery " jihyo answered " I mean my eyes surgery " she continued
Jeongyeon couldn't talk she just stayed for a minute thinking of what she just heard
" are you asleep? " Jihyo asked after not getting an answer form the older
" no I'm still awake " Jeongyeon responded
" why didn't you say anything? Did you hear me clearly? " Jihyo asked again so curious to know Jeongyeon's answer
" yes I heard you it just I don't have anything to say " Jeongyeon answered thinking this would help her to avoid saying the truth but it just brought more questions to Jihyo of why and how
" ugh this is unexpected I thought you're gonna be happy but you're just being cold " Jihyo said breaking the cuddle giving Jeongyeon a hint of her getting upset
" why did you think like that? Of course I'm happy that you finally chose the good thing for your life but I'm just surprised thatI can't react " Jeongyeon said
" surprised? " Jihyo said confusion all over her face
" yes I mean you always liked to be blind you kept ignoring all the questions about why you didn't do the surgery and you got more aggressive whenever someone asked you about it and now out of nowhere you wanna do it that's why I'm surprised I can't say anything because I'm afraid I might say something you don't like or I hurt you unintentionally " Jeongyeon said
" why are you thinking like that? I mean I know it is sudden but hurting me? Do you want me to stay blind? " Jihyo said
" No I don't I want- " Jeongyeon said but Jihyo interrupted her
" I'm tired Jeongyeon I don't wanna feel weak anymore I don't want people to take care of me I want to see the people around me if they deserve my trust or not I don't wanna be a burden to anyone it's my right and I'm not doing anything wrong trying to take it " Jihyo said trying to hold back her tears
" Jihyo baby I know and I'm not judging you at all I'm just surprised and now that you explained it of course I'm on your side always, whether you explained your reasons or you didn't I'm always here for you I'm supporting you please don't get me wrong or get sad because of my recent reaction just know I'm here always with you " Jeongyeon said and pulled Jihyo closer to her embrace
Showering the younger of her soft kisses assuring her that she's always with her and she's not going anywhere and with that she just made Jihyo more emotional
Turning her back to face the older and surprising her with a sudden kiss on her lips and mumbling thank you was the way Jihyo thanked her and made Jeongyeon's heart flutter more and more but can she help it?
No of course she can't so that's why she stole another kiss from Jihyo's lips whispering in her ear " your welcome " making Jihyo feels a tingle in her spine
And with cuddling and exchanging peaks Jihyo slept peacefully in her sweet girlfriend embrace but this wasn't for Jeongyeon she kept thinking and asking herself questions that didn't let her close her eyes to rest
She seems serious about the surgery what if she really does it and can see again it's really great for her but she's gonna be able to see me for sure what if she doesn't like me? What if she feels uncomfortable with me? Or what if I feel uncomfortable with her observing me?
