That One Idea

I had a crazy idea. A totally wild one. So, this is a new diary, that I kinda bought with my aunt's money (she never cares what we do, she drinks and smokes and is really rude). So that means you wouldn't know anything about me. I'm a random 14 1/2 girl and I live with my 2 siblings, Zenith and Natalie, and my careless Aunt Veronica. Our parents died in a train accident on the way to the city. We've been living with Aunt a Veronica for about...9 years, so a lot of time. Which means we're used to her. We'll run away. We really hate Veronica, (I call her that when I'm really mad) and we've been thinking about it for 6 years, aka 3 years into being here. But this time we will actually go with it. We never actually go with our plans, we zone out and if we ever actually try to zone back in we start thinking about, "Can fish see water?" or, "How did I catch that fish with my bare hands?" and "Puffy the dog bit me today. I wonder if it'll get infected." (Our dog's name is Puffy. She's probably the only one that really loves all of us, besides ourselves. She bit me because I was too close to Zenith when he was shouting. We're on a bus right now, but I'll talk about that later.

I woke up, drenched in sweat. I quickly flicked the covers with my ankle, got up and ran to Zen and Nat's beds. "Zenny! Nat! Quickly! We have to! Code red! CODE RED!" I whisper shouted. Zen rolled over. "Code red? Not no-fine. Nat! Nat! Nat! Coded, coded, coded!" he whisper shouted to Nat. She rolled off her bed. I helped her up, still sweaty. "Ew, sweaty hands," She said, disgusted. "I'll do it. Let's go." We quickly packed our bags (we had gotten them ready for if anyone of us were running away) and tiptoed out the frosty door. It was freezing and I shivered, but Zen quickly gave me our childhood teddy bear and a blanket on my back. I thanked him and opened my mind for a second. I started whispering. "Where do we go? What do we do? It's 2:30 in the morning..." I started to sweat again, thinking about it. "We'll go get food and drinks like..candy and soda?" Natalie said, trying to cheer me up. But I was too tense to agree. "Natalie! We have a life savings of $19.50!" I was sweating really hard at this moment. Oh yeah, it's normal. I have hyperhydrosis. But seriously, this was freaking me out. We started to run away from the house, quickly peeking through the window once or twice to see if Aunt Veronica was awake.
