I was shopping with my mom. It was Tuesday, also known as our "Target Tuesday" shopping day. I was looking around for some jewelry to wear to prom.

I was sad because my boyfriend broke up with me three days ago, and I no longer had anyone to go with.

My mom gave me her credit card and said I could get anything I wanted. But I was sad because she limited it to 500 dollars! She must hate me!

Anyway, I went to starbucks and got a white mocha frappucino. Obviously I took a picture of it and posted it on Instagram.

Afterwards I picked up some magazines. I needed something to read while I got my nails done later. I stood in line, and to my surprise, a handsome young man was bagging the person in front of me's groceries.

I didn't know how to react, so I started freaking out. What was I going to say?!

I was only seconds away from being his next customer. I couldn't think of any witty pickup lines.. So I stood there shaking. I sat the magazines down and looked at him.

His eyes. I could stare at them for years. His hair sat perfectly on his head. His red Target shirt went so well with his khakis. I bit my lip, but a little too hard. Blood started to drip down my chin.

"Uh, are you okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I said, with my mouth filled with blood.

"Um.. Do you need assistance?"

"Just yours." I winked.

He looked at me, and then screamed.

"SOMEBODY GET THIS GIRL OUT OF HERE!"

I felt so offended. So I did what every girl does.. I took a picture of him and posted it on Instagram. I made him my late man crush Monday.

I wanted every girl to know that he was mine!

Even though I was kicked out of Target, I still sat outside all day long waiting for his shift to be up.

I saw him walking outside. I grabbed him and tied him up, threw him in the back of my mom's Toyota, and we drove home.

My mom and I laughed together.

"This is similar to how I met your father." she said.

Alex silently whimpered in the back. But the duct tape prevented him from being heard.

"Shut up, mother. I don't care! I'm just happy that I found my prom date."
