Missing

CARTERS POV.
I just got off the phone with Dustin's mom. She said she hasn't seen him either. I try to call his phone but it goes straight to voicemail. At this point I start to get worried. After I got off the phone with his friends, I'm now beyond worried. I've called everyone. Maybe he did something and is in jail or the hospital. So, I called all of the local police stations and hospitals and he's not in any of them. Now, I've decided to make missing person signs. I know it's early but I'm extremely worried. After I get them made and copied, I go around town handing them out to people and putting them everywhere. After I do that, I go back to some of the places to see if anyone had taken my number or the sign to look.. On most of the signs, all of my numbers had been taken off and more of them were nowhere to be found. It must be like he might not want to be found. I need him back.... I miss him so much..
It's been a week and no one has called or texted me about finding him. I'm extremely worried right now. I don't know what to do anymore. I go to his mom for help. She told Me to call the News station. So me and her go up there to the news station and ask them to do a report about a missing person.
It's been yet another dreadful week with no Dustin. And by now, I've cried out every year in my body. And then I hear the doorbell ring.. I go to the door and open it and who it was really surprised me. It was Dustin.
"DUSTIN!" I scream as I jump into his arms. 'Has he been lifting weights while he was gone??' "Oh my god, where have you been? I've been so worried." 
" I know you've been worried. I saw all the signs. I was just away for a short while visiting a friend. But I'm back now. So you can stop worrying."
"If you were at your friends, the why couldn't I call you?"
" My phone died and I didn't have my charger with me. Carter I promise you, I'm fine."
"Good.... I'm glad.. I was literally going crazy while you were gone."
"Yeah... We'll, I drive people crazy.." He spoke as smiled at me.
DUSTINS POV
So I'm back In town and I can't wait to tell carter what I did for her. Now that I'm a vampire, I can change her and me and her can be together forever. It's perfect. But what about my thirst? Will I be able to control it? Especially around her. I need her. If I bite her I might accidentally kill her. I can't let that happen. I love her.. She's my soul mate.
"Carter? Can we talk? In the woods.? Meet me There in five minutes? I'll be waiting.?" I head down to the woods and I quietly wait and debate on what I'm going to say to carter and how I'm going to explain it to her. And then I hear the leaves crunching under her delicate feet. She's so close and I can hear her thought. 'Why does he want me down in the woods? Is he going to break up with me? Is he going to rape me?' She has so Much on her mind. So many questions.. So curious..
"Carter, I have to tell you something. The real reason I was gone..."
"Yeah Dustin?"
"So, I was at my friends... But I only went there so he could.... Help me with something." 

"Go on" She directs me.

"I want to be with you forever. And you know what lives forever? Vampires." As soon as I said that she stepped away a little bit. As if she were scared. I look away for a brief second, and she's gone. In a flash, i was right in front of her, holding her shoulders strongly, but softly so i wouldn't harm her. "Carter, please give me a chance... i know I'm new at this, but ill control it. i promise!" i spoke softly with sincerity in my voice. she looked away, I could see the sparkle in her eyes from the tears.

"Carter, don't be scared.... I did this so we could be together forever.. Your my soulmate and I don't want anyone else. I want to be assured that your mine forever. My friend changed me and made me a vampire. I promise I won't hurt you. But I was to change you, so we can be vampires together. And help each other with this." I could tell she Was terrified. She didn't want to get hurt.

"Carter, when would I ever hurt you?" I questioned taking a step closer to her. "This is real. We are real. And your my soul Mate. My everything. And I can't be without you. Please, take this step with me."
"No. No, I can't. Your a monster.... You drink blood and...." The tears were rolling down her face and I could tell that we wouldn't be making it out of this.
"Carter, give me a chance. This doesn't Change anything... I'm still Me and I still love you. Nothing has changed. Please don't leave me.... I can't lose you." I spoke as I pulled her into an assuring hug. " i promise, after this is all over, we will get married, have kids, and start eternity together." 
"I'll give it one chance, but if you hurt me, it's goodbye." and by that, I knew she was serious. i also knew, that if i changed her, shed leave me. The transition is painful and takes about 60 hours to complete. I know we will stay together.
