Bzzzz. 'Ugh, these bees are like so annoying! I cant even begin to focus on taking the perfect pic to post on instabook. Get them out of here Helen!' Said Katie in the most irritated voice she could manage.
'I cant control their minds Katie, I wish I could, but I cant. Just imagine, I go buzz buzz, they go buzz buzz, we talk all day, I become the best friend of the bee queen, and we can even have tea parties, that is what friends do, right'
'Yeah, sure, whatever you think brat. Wait, didn't I say to get these bees out of here?'
'Yeah, bu-'
'Kill them if you cant nicely get them to leave, it don't matter to me, bees are like mean to me, you know what happened to me when I was like your age.'
'First of all, no I will not kill them, they are my only friends. Second of all, no, I don't know the story of the bees.'
'Well, I will tell you then.'
'No, actually I am fine.' Helen did not want to hear the story, in fact, she could think of a million other things she would rather do then stand there and be forced to her sister's story, she knew it would be something stupid.
'No, you asked and I am going to tell you! Katie knew Helen didn't ask but she didn't care, it was a chance for her to talk about herself, and she was going to take it. 'The date was August 29th, 2011, that was the day I turned eight, I remember it like it was yesterday, I had just opened my presents and I was in the yard playing with my new doll when out of nowhere I heard a buzzing noise, it was driving me crazy. I looked around to find the source of the noise, I couldn't see anything that could be making that noise so I thought it was coming from the inside of my doll. I ripped the head off my doll, looked inside and can you guess what I saw, no, well, I saw the inside of a doll and like, that was it. I tried to put the head back on my doll but it wouldn't work. I fell to my knees crying, I had asked for a doll twice a year for five years and I finally got one, but it was ruined before I could get even a dollars worth of play out of it. I had totally forgotten about the buzzing noise for a second and just as fast as it had faded, it picked right back up again. Again, I looked around, and nothing, then, there it was, right on my nose. I swung at it, and yes, it flew, but just to my eye, then I felt an excruciating pain, it had stung my dang eyeball. From that day, that moment, I have hated bees and thought they were mean.'
Helen busted out laughing. 'You tore the head off your doll just because of a noise, that is hilarious!'
'Shut up Helen!'
'Make me!'
'Maybe I will.'
Right when then tensions arise, here comes mom to the rescue.
'Girls, yall aint arguing, are yall?'
Katie hurries up and says 'No maam, we are not. We are just having story time.', which wasnt completely false, she did tell a story.
'Well shut up and get in here. Lunch is ready. Make sure to wash your filthy hands before touching anything thats clean!' Natasha knew exactly what they were doing and she wasnt going to let it get to the point of last time when they were arguing about a wasp and Katie stomped on the wasp and shoved it in Helens nose.
When they all got their lunch, which was just half a sandwich, they went and sat on their boxs and played truth or dare, the truths were pretty boring considering they knew everything about each other since it was just the three of them, in that one house all day with nothing to do but talk.
'Truth or dare brat?' Katie didnt like family time, which means she didnt like her life, since it was basically family time twenty-four-seven.
'Dare!'
'I dare you to ask mom a question that you have always wanted to ask the next time she picks truth on your turn.' Katie wanted to dare her to drink snake venom, but she didnt think that would go over well with their mom, plus Katie didnt know where to find a snake, or venom from a snake.
'Momma, truth or dare?'
'Truth!' Natasha was curious as to what Helen was going to ask, she couldnt think of anything Helen might want to know that she dont already know, well, except for that one thing but she didnt think Helen would ever ask about it. Well, she was wrong, the next thing that came out of Helens mouth was the one thing Natasha never wanted to answer and never thought she would have to answer.
'What happened to daddy?' She said it in what seemed to be the most innocent voice anyone has ever heard.
'Well, he left us while I was in the hospital having you.'
'So was it my fault he aint her right now?'
'No sweetie, it ain't. Just go to bed and forget about all this.' She said realizing she could have lied, and wishing she would have.
