CHAPTER 1:THE WEDDING

 Aditi's POV

It's 8:30pm on 2nd of july and I'm shivering in my navy blue dress . Not to mention my feet is hurting because of the wedges that I'm wearing and also because of meeting 'my new family's relatives' and I am so, so, so freaking happy right now!!

[note the heavy sarcasm guys...the sarcasm]

Anyway, I'm at my father's wedding .Ya, my father Rishabh is getting married to Naina ,after dating her for 1 and 1/2 years and not to forget they are in love. He told me that himself but you can always look for answers in the eyes right?Well that's what I do anyways.

Naina....what should I say about her ?She's now officially my stepmother .And no she's not like that typical cliche stepmother who's badass when her husband is not around and becomes a fairy godmother when he is.She is a beautiful,gorgeous woman who is down to earth and humble and has a powerful aura around her.She is really nice and I think I like her given that I agreed to my father's marriage.She is exactly the kind of mother that Ayaan needs. Ayaan...he's my 4 years old ,younger brother.

Coming back to the present I'm sitting in the front row .where the stage stands in the centre on which my father and Naina are meeting friends and family who are congratulating them for their wedding.The table that I am sitting at is occupied by 3 more people.First,my cute little brother Ayaan in his black sherwani looking absolutely adorable and the twins, Krish and Kiaan who are now my stepbrothers wearing their blue and green sherwanis .I have met them only once when papa and Naina were dating and we all were supposed to have dinner together for the first time and on that hot sweaty day, dad and Naina decided to surprise us by telling that they were getting married.

We were surely surprised but it was a kind of a sudden surprise ,you know?OK,probably you don't know.....I mean surprises are supposed to be sudden right?ya, whatever.

Later that dinner was kind of awkward ,we mostly ate in silence trying to seep in the news of our respective parents getting married,only occasionally taking part in discussions when we were required to.We didn't object but it sure was weird for us given that this was the very first time we all were meeting together.

Anyways,today is going to be a long night.Tiring and life changing as well .Tomorrow is an important day for all of us.It'll be different I guess ,we are now officially..legally a 'family'.Calling Naina,Krish and Kiaan,' family'is weird but then I guess I have to guess used to it or maybe not.
