I came too in a bed in a very large room a sat up and looked over it was hope she was laying next to me. The way the sun light hit her red hair was beautiful. Hope. Hope wake up. I whispered she opened her eyes slowly and rubbed them she looked at me and jumped off the beds. Don't get this wrong jack I was just tired and I passed out. She said while blushing. Your face is cute while you sleep hope. I said. She looked away blushing even more. A butler and a maid walked in and introduced themselves looks like your awake master jack, I'm Annie the maid il be taking care of your wounds. Wounds? I said. Your spiritual energy was decimated when you used that sword you concentrated too hard that's why you passed out. She said. oh yeah what happened too the dragon? I asked. Annie started to walk to me she sat down next to me and said lay down so I can replenish your energy so I did. She held up her hands and a purple fire sparked in between her hands she spread the flames across my chest it was weird I didn't feel the heat. After she spread it my skin absorbed it. I quickly sat up and felt my body. How did you do that I asked. I'm a sorceress I can replenish ones spiritual energy. That's cool I said. Hey guntar do you have a special power? I asked. Yes, in fact I am a vampire but don't worry I won't suck your blood or anything I get by with blood transfusions. oh thank The Lord I said while holding my chest.your too close Annie hope said while pulling Annie away from me. I understand but jack must begin his journey corruption is spreading like wildfire and only jack can stop it we need jack to stop it so we can prosper. In return for beating corruption jack will rule icaristica along side you hope. The king said. I'll do it do you know where the sword is exactly? No but I know the area it's in ill have a knight escort you jack so you better gear up. the king said. I sent it my room and Annie brought in a suit of armor and and a shield and my sword. The armor had a spell on it to replenish your spiritual energy when needed said Annie. That's awesome, did you put the spell on yourself. I asked. Yes I did I want you to be safe out there. thanks Annie. it's no big deal- aww heck come here little guy. Annie said while hugging me and smuthering me. Annie gets to sentimental sometimes said guntar while pulling her off of me and leaving the room. I got dressed in the armor. and when I walked out of the room standing in front of my was hope in armor like mine except the crests on the shield. mine was a blue dragon and hope had a pink dragon. What are you doing hope? I asked. I'm going with you I don't want you to get hurt. I'll be fine hope. no! what if you pass out again.pondering the thought I thought it might be fine for her too come. ok you can come I said. yay. she yelled. but if we get into a battle let me take care of it I need you to be safe. Ok she said. All the way to front gate hope was in a joyful mood. We got on our horses and followed the knight that the king got to help us through the forest. While riding I looked over and saw a scroll sticking out a pouch on the saddle of my horse I kept going. I'll read later I thought to myself. we reached a clearing in the middle of the forest the knight told us to stand at the tree line so we did. He started chanting in a weird voice and the ground began glowing with marking all around him. Then I flash of light I put my hand by me eyes and it started to dim there was a spiral staircase in the ground. The knight said its as far as he'll go. And with that he left. I reached for the scroll in my saddle I previously saw. I opened it up and hope asked what's that jack. I don't know i just found it in my saddle. What does it say? she said. It read dear jack, I thought you might need this information. In the dungeon at the end of the staircase you'll have too find a door with a the words "only thee who can earn thy trust can i bestow the power of the holy sword" on it that's the room where Excalibur is. . Inside guarding the sword is a griffin and you'll need to earn its trust so it'll give you the sword. Good luck jack. Sincerely, your king.
It said. We'll hope we'll have to find Excalibur I guess and earn the griffins trust. can't we just kill it? She asked. No I don't wanna kill what's not evil. fine she said. we started going down the stairs and as it started getting darker I grabbed a torch off the wall and then we descended even more. The walls were wet and covered in moss once we reached the bottom step I drew my sword we walked through the corridors for what seemed like hours then we came across I bigger door than the rest I put my torch closer to it and sure enough the words that the king described were on the door I Reyes to figure out a way too open it and so did hope. We'll never ding it I said. Hey jack I found something. What is it I said. It's a slit in the door. after investigating it a bit more I drew my swords and inserted it in the slit dust and rubble began to fall from the ceiling and the door slowly moved up wards towards the ceiling. We walked on and all was dark besides the 6 foot radius of the torchlight. there was a creek in the darkness. who's there! hope yelled. a eagle head slowly came into the light. I took a step back and asked are you the griffin. yes, I'm the griffin and the guardian of the holy sword of exclaimed and if thee are seeking the sword you must gain my trust. I am seeking the holy sword. I said. hmmm he said while walking around us observing. the princess if icaristica, hope is it? it was foolish of your father too send you all the way out here in the middle of the twilight forest and the young hero bearing the J crest there no doubt your worthy of wielding the power of Excalibur but how am I supposed to trust you'll use it for good? I wish to destroy the evil corruption that's consuming this land. I did. a golden light started to shine he chanted holy sword Excalibur slater of demons and evil please come to me and serve this you knight in battle against corruption. a sword with a golden handle and a crystal in its blade appeared in mid air it shined a glowing gold color. it floated closer to me and I put out my hands. it landed in my hands and brightly shined. you have encredible energy young hero! the griffin said surprised I never seen an energy that powerful in all the decades I've been alive you have a gift. go jack go and defeat corruption and take back the land. with that me and hope left and climbed back up the stairs once we reached the top hope said while blushing jack that was my first kiss and I didn't like it. it was my first kiss too and I loved it. we'll I didn't so let's try again she said while walking towards me.. we were face to face she said close your eyes so I did I felt soft lips and a sweet kiss the forest came alive the insects were glowing and flying around us the animals gathered and began to stare. My heart skipped a beat and rapidly beated faster and faster. she softly let go and I felt my lips they tingled we were both blushing and she whispered I might rethink marrying you. what u asked oh nothing let's get back to the castle she said while getting on her horse. I walked to my horse and got on and we rode back to the castle. it was very dark but when we walked in Annie and guntar both greeted us. Thank god you too are ok she said while hugging me and hope tightly. you guys might want to get a bath after a hard long day huh? Yeah we both said. while we were walking to the boys and the girls bathing rooms before we walked in our deprecate rooms Annie asked did you guys get the sword? I said yes. I'm glad you'll want to talk to the kind in the morning he's asleep now she said. ok I said and me and guntar went in the men's room and the girls went to the ladies room. after we took our baths we went to bed I watched my widow from my bed for a while until I hears a creek at the door. I asked who's that? hope opened the door and walked in. I can't sleep can I sleep in here with you? she asked. sure I said. she walked through the moon light her golden eyes glistened and her red hair shined as she walked in her red night gown. she climbed in my bed and said thanks jack. oh it's fine just get some rest hope goodnight. I said. she said goodnight jack and closed her eyes. The night breeze that came through my widow felt good all of the sudden hope turned over and put her arm around me and snuggled up against me and whispered warm. I love you hope I said and I closed my eyes and fell asleep....
