Kaleb's pov
I sat there, gripping onto the tissue box Katsuki hadn't bothered to take back.
''Heya Kaleb-!'' I turned my head, only to see Miyuki, skipping towards me.
''oh.. h-hi there..'' She just crouched down by me.
''i- o-okay I just need to talk to you about something for a moment.. you're the only person I really trust right now.. so yeah..'' Miyuki didn't sound like herself.. she seemed awkward- scared even.
'' o-oh sure. Go ahead.'' Miyuki twirled her hair around her finger.. yep. definitely awkward
''w-well I've just been kind of confused about some stuff- why isn't anyone freaking out? Were trapped in a s-small, dark, empty room without an exit--! '' Her eyes went wide, she was clearly terrified.. she was acting completely opposite to how she had been earlier.
''H-hey-! It's okay! I-I'm sure there's an escape somewhere.. how else would we have gotten in-- h-have we looked?? '' I made an attempt to calm down Miyuki- ending up freaking myself out as well.
''of course-!!! I'm just scared.. none of us know how long we were unconscious for.. f-for all we know we could have been here for days! Weeks! YEARS!!'' She was beginning to panic even more, anxiously glancing around the room and shaking. So I just- wrapped my arms around her.
I didn't really give myself a chance to think. I just wanted to calm her nerves..
''K-kaleb..?'' I fucked up--
Though I had probably made the situation slightly worse- I simply placed my head down.
''aH-'' she made a strange noise- almost like she had been frightened by something-
When I opened my eyes.. I realized what had frightened her-
''GAh- OHMYGODIMSOSORRYPLEASEFORGIVEMEIDIDNTKNOWWHATIWASDOINGHONESTTOGOD--''
I lifted my face from her chest, my face bright pink- that was a big oops.
When I looked up, her face, too was bright pink... But that wasn't the problem here--
Everyone else in the room were staring at us with confused expressions.
Why was I such a dumbass.
