THIRD PERSON

"I don't have feelings for you anymore. I think we should break up before this can go any further."

Tears started welling in the girl eyes, putting her waterproof mascara to the test.

"B-But baby you said you- you said you loved me." Her voice shook as she started crying even harder in the restaurant.

Tugging his beanie off, he gave the crying girl a sad smile, "You're gonna be happy again, but not with me."

He was conflicted. Brandon felt like utter shit for breaking up with Maggie. While she was in the middle of trying to propose. Publicly.

All he could do all night was see her broken expression while he left the building.

Brandon found that shit funny as hell.

Her face scrunched up to where she seemed like the crying emoji and her wig looked like it was about to slip off.

He knew better than to laugh at someone else's expense, but shit man, it was funny.

"Nigga, why you still here and not talking to the whole reason you broke up with Margaret?" The dry ass blonde breads on his band mates head just made Brandon laugh.

The nigga with the crusty scalp rolled his eyes. "So, you single and now you don't know how to act?"

Brandon took a minute to process it.

He was finally single.

He was free from having to respond to Maggie's every growl, having to get barked at, and being clowned by all his band mates.

He smiled.

"Yea, something like that."
