I woke up and stretched my arms. "JAMIE" shouted my best friend, as I sighed and held my head. "Yeah" I said, as I could hear her feet stomping up the stairs making her way towards my room. She opened the door making her way inside. "Tonight an all Disney marathon" she said, as I narrowed my eyes at her. "You had to wake me up for that?" I asked, as she puffed her cheeks. "Hey I don't see you coming up with a better plan" she said, as I sat up and raised an eyebrow at her. "Just admit you want to sleepover with Pete because your house is being fumigated" I said, as she blushed embarrassed and growled turning her head away. "How did you know?" she asked looking grumpy. "Your mom told my mom and asked for you to stay over a few days" I said, as she growled. "Damn it I hate it when she does that" said my best friend, as I smirked and got out my bed. I walked into the closet hearing my best friend sighing. "So is that a no for the marathon then?" she asked, as I smirked coming out of the closet dressed in brown jeans a black shirt and a brown vest. I looked at my best friend with her short red hair and green eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt and a white skirt. "I didn't say that" I said, as she smiled. "So a yes then?" she asked excitedly. "I didn't say that either" I said, as my best friend growled and puffed her cheeks. "You always do that" she said, as I chuckled. "That's because you ask the obvious questions" I said, as he growled and turned her head away. "ALEXIS, JAMIE BREAKFAST IS READY" shouted my mom from downstairs. "Yes food" said Alexis racing out the door and I sighed. I slowly followed and smiled as my cat Mittens was waiting for me downstairs. She followed me as I sat at the table and sat in my lap once I was sitting in a chair. "Jamie the cat is not allowed on the table" said my mom, as I smirked. "She's not, she's sitting in my lap at the table" I said, as I paused seeing my mom narrowing her eyes at me. I sighed and lifted Mittens off my lap putting her on the floor. "Meow" she said looking up at me. I sighed and patted her head. "Sorry Mittens" I said, as she continued to sit on the floor beside me. Once breakfast was finished I was helping Alexis unpack her things in our spare guest room and she had Pete sleeping on her bed. "Why can't Pete be like Mittens?" asked Alexis, as I raised an eyebrow at her. "Why would you want that?" I asked, as she pouted. "Pete is too independent and she never wants to cuddle unless she wants to" said Alexis, as I sighed and held my head. "You don't really mean that" I said, as she sighed. "Yeah I know" she said, as I started to help her unpack. "So I say beauty and the beast" she said, as I narrowed my eyes at her. "What?" she asked, as I sighed. "That's all you want to watch" I said, as she hpmhed and crossed her arms. "It's my favourite Disney movie" she said, as I rolled my eyes. I then paused for a moment and looked around. "Hey Alexis... isn't it... kind of quiet" I asked, as she paused and looked around. "Yeah... it is" she said, as we stopped when hearing Mittens meowing. "Mittens" I called out, but her meowing sounded faint. "Pete" called Alexis, as we paused hearing her meowing faint as well. "It sounds like they are in your room but it sounds further" said Alexis, as we walked into my room and looked around. "Mittens" I called again "Pete" called Alexis again. "Meow" said Mittens and Pete, but still sounded pretty far. "Under the bed" I said, as we pulled my bed back and our eyes widened seeing a hole in the ground. "MITTENS" I shouted, and I stopped as we heard her meowing. "PETE" shouted Alexis, as we heard her meowing as well. "How are we going to get them out?" asked Alexis, as I paused and looked around. "Ladder?" I asked, as Alexis looked at me. "Do you have one?" she asked, as I shook my head. "No human ladder" I said, as her eyes widened and she gloomed. "Let me guess your holding onto me?" she asked, as I narrowed my eyes at her. "Do you think you can hold onto me?" I asked, as she shook her head no. "Well then let's go" I said, as she gulped, but nodded. Alexis started to reach down and soon I grabbed her legs lowering her down into the hole. "Well?" I asked, as Alexis squinted her eyes at tried looking. "Too dark" she said, as I sighed. "Use the light on your phone" I said, as her eyes widened. "Ah" she said, as I narrowed my eyes at her. "You left it in your bag didn't you?" I asked, as she smiled at me nervously. Alexis then paused as a wind start pulling her into the hole. "Jamie" she said, as I grunted and started pulling her up. However, the wind started getting stronger and in a blink of an eye both of us were pulled into the whole. "AH" we shouted, as we saw nothing but black around us.
