i lay in bed, snuggled underneath two sheets of pure cotton and with a fan on, the balance of heat and cold was required due to me being sick.
elliot walked into the bedroom, no shirt on, his hair a mess with his goggles still up, and wearing no shoes but still his dark army pants. "heyo, y/n. can i... get you anything?" he smiled at my distorted, quilted form. "soup, pillows, sick tunes?" he pulled a mixtape from behind his ear and held it in between his index finger and middle finger.
i groaned hearing the word sick and, as if perfectly on cue, the mixtape slipped out of his fingers and onto the ground, luckily, he caught it before it smashed. "woop!" he called, looking at the device now held tight in his hand. he smiled at me again and then his face lit up. "do you want..." he did a playful drumroll on his lap. "coffee?!"
i nodded, sitting up from the boiling and freezing bed. a few minutes passed after the man left and i could hear wavy sounds of coffee being made, then the smell of it overpowered my blocked nostrils. he walked back into the room, carrying the coffee in a mug which had the words 'world's best partner' on the front. i grinned slightly and took the coffee in both hands, sipping with delight as it warmed my senses up. "thanks, elliot." i said in a nasally tone.
"no probs babe." he patted my shoulder lightly. "want anything else?" he zapped in and out of the room, holding various items in his hands.
i placed the coffee mug on the table next to me and stood up, waiting for him to enter again. when he did, i clasped my hands around his cheeks and looked into his gorgeous brown eyes. "you! i want you..." i grinned, blushing.
"m-me?" he sounded shocked. "no-one every wants me..."
"hush, you fool!" i whispered and kissed him with my pale lips. the two of us collapsed onto the bed cackling, red all over. mirage crawled into bed next to me and looked at me. "i love you, elliot."
"i love you too, sweetheart."
