You can't believe it's only been three weeks since your first day at UA Academy. You already have many good friends including someone you can consider your best friend. Yes Tsuyu Asui is your best friend but she is also more than a friend to you. You've grown a crush on her though it is small you feel she wouldn't feel the same way about you. You're full of secrets something no one at the Academy should know. You have a normal appearance of a human but it's thanks to your powers. It isn't from a quirk like this society is use to no, you're a doppelganger. A mythical being able to shape shift. Your people are taught to keep your identities a secret as the world isn't yet ready for your kind or other monsters yet. In your true form your hair is wild swirling around your body you can fly and your natural eyes are black with golden iris's. Your quirk at school is flight and phasing through walls. Yes as a doppelganger you have many abilities thanks to your kind. You've been able to keep your secret of course but it can be exhausting keeping it to yourself. You feel as if you should tell your friends everything but this was something you always weigh onto the back of your mind. Your parents told you unless its a life or death situation you shouldn't use your abilities specific to your kind.
Today is Halloween you and Tsuyu decide to have a sleep over at her house since its Friday. Her parents are kind people they went out to trick-or-trick with their son. You and Tsuyu didn't plan much aside from watching Halloween specials while passing out candy at the door step. It was quiet until around five o'clock the two of you pass out candy to children every so often. It wasn't until around seven o'clock the children slowly disappeared and the both of you relax eating candy bars on the couch,
"These chocolate bars are way too delicious! I'm on my third one!"
"Yeah they're too delicious Tsuyu! At this rate we'll eat the rest of the candy bowl!"
You two giggle together then proceed eating more candy. You change the channel of the television hoping to find a movie marathon. As you're about to place the remote onto the coffee table you jump out of your seat on the couch. A few blood curdling screams can be heard from what sounds about a few houses down. You look over to Tsuyu who nods in approval of the idea to investigate. The both of you throw on your boots and run outside. You two see a huge fire going on at a house nearby with smoke blowing up into the sky. Fires are dangerous but as heroes you two know your hearts wouldn't let the both of you walk away unless you two tried rescuing first. You race into the home together avoiding the flames at the front door.
Inside the home the flames are traveling more up the stair then they are at the bottom floor where you two are standing. You two look around quietly in case the screams could be heard again. You hear crying from the kitchen from children. It's around the corner so you two run toward them. Tsuyu stops you in your tracks when you hear a deeper voice from a male. You two stay hidden in case it could be from a crook.
"P-please let us leave!! We'll die..!"
"Shut up you brats! Does it look like I care!? Follow me while I pick up more belongings unless you want to die."
"Yes sir..!" The children say with fright.
He is rummaging through the living room from the sounds of it. Crashing from vases and other household belongings could be heard. While the man is distracted you look over the scene to see the children hiding behind the counter in the kitchen. They're hugging each other shivering with fear they look no older than six years of age. They're too precious to be in such a situation one of the little boys is dressed as a skeleton wearing a mask while the other is dressed as Almight he could easily be compared to a plushie. The thief is wearing all black he has six arms on his body. They must be natural since his top has six sleeves. You look to Asui who is as angered as you are.
