3rd pov.

"how do i look like?" zoey asked christina as she was ready to go to her meeting with her dad, "decent," christina smiled earning a groan from zoey, "where did i go wrong?" she asked christina as the girl got up from the bed going to the girl standing in front of the mirror.

"listen baby i love the sweatpants they're so cute but the sweatshirt is not something cute and neither are those converse or your messy bun," christina told her as zoey sighed, "here i'll give you a white tube top and my short black boots," christina told zoey and she ran to her room grabbing the stuff and then walking back to zoey giving her the clothes.

"you sure?" zoey asked as christina nodded, zoey put on the shirt and changed into the boots, "there now put this on," christina told her as she gave her a pair of earrings and a necklace, as zoey put them on christina went and grabbed a hair brush then going to zoey and pulling her hair down, "brush them and you're good to go," christina smiled as zoey nodded and brushed her hair.

"ok now i really have to go," zoey laughed as she grabbed her bag and phone and walked out of the door being late at her meeting with her father.

zoey drived to the place where she was supposed to be which was a small caffee where her mom and dad would go back in the days.

she took a deep breath as she opened the door of the stores the strong smell of cinnamon immediately hitting her just like she remembers it from years ago, the place was still just like she remembers it.

small round wood tables with 4 chairs each, the ceiling still held the two big chandeliers from crystal that zoey thought were real when she was younger, the bar place still had the pretty flowers drown into it and there was still the same black stools that zoey would beg her mom to sit down to.

her eyes scattered around the caffee until she finally saw him, the man who she thought she'll never have to deal with again, who she had tried to forvige so many time, the man who left her in the worst state of mind.

her dad.

as soon as the man who was around his 50 - s saw the girl he jumped from his table to the girl wrapping his arms around her and engulfing his daughter in a hug, "i missed you angel," he whispered as he hugged his only biological daughter.

"let's talk," zoey mumbled as she pulled away from the hug and sat down at the chair her dad was sitting a couple of minutes, the waitress came and took their order, "explain," said zoey as all her attention was at her dad.

"ok listen so the day that i got the job for ariana's music video i got so happy that i could've flied, i thought that maybe if i make enough money from this i could cure your mom's cancer and we would be happy again," he started as zoey started immediately to feel confused.

"i talked to your mom and that day we fought a lot cause she was being stubborn about it, the next day when i went to the video shoot i met ariana's mom who was a respected woman, she left a pretty good impression on me but i never thought anything of her cause i loved your mom," he continued as zoey nodded.

"i told your mom about it and well her words were go with her," her father said as both and him and her started tearing up, "she wanted me to find someone else for you know when she's gone, she begged and told me that it was her only last wish before her death," at this point zoey was already crying.

"so i started going on dates with ariana's mom and things really hit off so when i told your mom we both got worried about you, what were we gonna tell you, that way we thought about making the story about how i left without neither one of you knowing it," he sighed and then continued.

"i was supposed to come back into your life a year after your mom died but then i went on your socials and saw that you were going through some things because of the daniel seavey guy, which if i find him i'm gonna kill him, so i thought if i come in your life at that moment i would make things worse so one thing led to another and now we're here," he ended wiping a tear that had fallen out of his eye.

"i - i don't know what to say," zoey choked out wiping away my tears, "please just give me another chance and i'll show that i actually am still the man you remember," her dad pleaded as zoey didn't know what to do.

but she knew something for a fact and that was the fact that she had missed her father so much to let go of him again or relationship with him, so one thing leading to another zoey had now reconnected with her dad and she couldn't be happier.
