Kage's Pov

We went back inside just in time to see Corinna walking up to Fuckface who was still harshly tangled upside down in Mariana's deadly vines.

"We've decided to let Corinna handle the matter. She's our best option to squeeze the truth out without further harming him." Spyridon informed us.

My brows furrowed in confusion. 'What is she gonna do? Cure him of his lying ass deceiving ass ways?'

Romanov must have sensed my confusion or saw my face to answer to my unsaid question.

"Even though Corinna is the second offspring, she gained two powers. The first one is Healing that she inherited from her mother, Koralina. Her other own ability is Truth. She can tell when people are lying and can make them speak the truth by touching them directly." He explained.

"But I thought Luke would be the one to possess two powers? Or does he actually have two as well?" I questioned.

"No. He only has one, Teleportation. However, his centuries of experience and practice with his ability makes it so strong that he's able to teleport across the world with a number of people at the same time."

"Centuries?"

"He's 717 years old. The oldest of all the offsprings from the families."

"Oh..."

I turned my attention back on Corinna to see her placing both of her hands at the sides of Fuckface's head as he struggled in resistance. A gentle gold glow began to emanate from them.

Alek was the right there beside her in a seemingly half-relaxed but half-protective stance.

"Ask away" Corinna said a few seconds later.

I moved around Corinna to an angle where I could see fuckface. Moving a bit more closer with Romanov beside I began the interrogation.

"I'll ask again, Fuckface. Why were you and your now two little dead friends following us?"

He gritted his teeth as he tried to fight against telling the truth but he answered soon enough.

"W-We.... We were given orders to find the location of the famous freak of nature and that good for nothing shewolf－!" Corinna and Alek breaking both of his legs each made Fuckface unable to finish his answer properly as he screamed in absolute pain.

I wasn't expecting that.

"You shall not speak ill of my sister-in-laws." Corinna demanded coldly.

I put a hand over my heart. I felt touched.🥺

I wondered how she would react to hearing my precious mother-in-law calling me worse. Well, she haven't really been treating me that bad as of late....

"You're saying that you have just been following these two around until they would come back to the mansion." Xavier concluded.

I quirked a brow. 'So I guess they didn't mind them breaking Fuckface's legs even though we still need him to answer our questions.' I mentally chuckled. They were defending Lucy and I, so I didn't mind either.

Fuckface glared in pain but coldly at Corinna who was sporting an even deadlier glare of her own.

"Who gave you these orders?" Ioanna questioned.

Once again he tried to resist from telling us but spilled soon enough anyway.

"The leader.... of the rogues." Fuckface gritted out in pain and unwillingly.
