Chapter 1 (Meeting her dad)

Elijah asked Samantha to prom yesterday. In disbelief, she said yes. Elijah had a quick flashback to when he was 10, he and Samantha were holding hands, then Samantha's dad pulled her away as Samantha made a miserable face, staring back at Elijah. Elijah also looked very puzzled and disappointed. He finally snapped out of trance when his heart skipped a beat because he reminded himself that prom was tomorrow. The thought that he just processed didn't matter at that time. All that mattered was that Elijah was really excited to go to prom and he needed to plan everything so the night will be perfect. Surprisingly according to Elijah, Samantha said her dad will be driving them there. So he got a good night's sleep, woke up and ate the crappiest breakfast which was soggy and warm cereal. Elijah's twin brother Ethan, who happens to be living together at the time, did offer to make Elijah breakfast. But Elijah is very stubborn, so he denied it. After a huge rush to finish what he was eating, Elijah quickly got dressed in a nice dark brown tuxedo and a black tie. "Lookin' fly," Ethan said laughing. "When do I not?" Elijah replied. Ethan gave Elijah his phone "You might need this" Ethan said "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Thank you" Elijah replied, walking out the door.

As Elijah entered the car and into the passenger's seat, he turned around and said hello to Samantha. She was gorgeous, she was wearing a dark purple dress with blonde and a bit of brown hair in a bun. "Wow" Elijah said in shock "What?" Samantha said laughing and blushing "Nothing, you are just beautiful" Elijah replied. Samantha's dad looked at him angrily. Elijah felt awkward so he just stared at the window. After a drive roughly about 30 minutes long, they finally arrived at the prom. Samantha got out of the car quickly in excitement and shut the door. Elijah unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the car door as well. Before he could get out of his seat Samantha's dad pulls Elijah back, closes the car door and locks it.

"Listen kid. Samantha is the kindest and best woman you will ever meet. And she doesn't deserve a guy. All she needs is her dad. So you do me a favor, go in there and say you are breaking up with her. And don't you even think about telling her I said this to you. Because if you do, I will know. And I will kill you and your family. I know your parents very well and I know where they live. And I know they can trust me. So I will do it. I promise" Samantha's dad said in a stern voice. "Okay," Elijah said nervously and upset. Elijah got out of the car and walked to the prom. So much fear and paranoia spread through his body he could barely walk straight.

As he entered the building he walked up to Samantha "What's wrong?" Samantha said. "I'm sorry, but I'm breaking up with you" Elijah said disappointed. "Why?" Sam said, starting to cry. Elijah ran away. He ran very fast and just as he was about to leave the parking lot, he fell. He got up quickly and ran faster. He never stopped until he reached his house. He ran into the house and slammed the door. "You're home early," Ethan said. Elijah ran up the stairs. Ethan followed him. "What happened?" Ethan said curiously. "Sam's dad," Elijah replied in fear. "He's a maniac" "Oh, Here watch some movies" Ethan said, giving Elijah the remote. "They will cheer you up."

Meanwhile back at the prom

Samantha ran out of the prom and into the truck "What did you say to Elijah?" Samantha said upset. "I said have fun. Why? What did that little rascal do to you?" Sam's dad said in a teasing voice. "You told him to break up with me didn't you? Why would you do this? He was the only guy in my school that wasn't a jerk and you just hate to dislike him just because he was a guy" Samantha said, very upset. "I dislike him because he's not right for you, Sammy. She got out of the car and ran.

Meanwhile with Ethan and Elijah

After half an hour passed by, Ethan got a call from Braden. Braden wanted Ethan to come over. Ethan said yes and got ready to leave. "Elijah I'm leaving to go hang out with Braden" Ethan said screaming upstairs. Elijah was fine with it. And then Ethan left.
