Ch. 3

As I arrived in her drive way I parked and went to open the door. I carried my bag upstairs and knocked on her door before entering

"Maze?" - I got no answer
I got kinda worried but decided to knock again... no answer.
I wanted to make sure she was alright.

"Maze? You in there?" I knocked on her room door
"Oh. Yea I'm ok sorry I didn't know you were there" she spoke from the other side of the door. She opened it and I noticed she changed.

She was wearing a tight short dress, a black ripped jean jacket over it and her vapor max on one foot. Her ass looked so fat in it but I just wanted to know how she managed to do all that on her own.

"Hello there" she spoke as she came out opening the door
"Well hello mamacita, where you going dressed up like that?" I asked her smirking
"Well I want to go out and take a walk, shopping maybe? Grab lunch" she said sitting next to me on the bed as she held her makeup bag
"Am I invited?" I laughed
"Of course that's why I'm telling you" she smiled
"Well just know lunch on me and whatever else you lay your eye on"  I said getting up and taking some clothes I could change into
"You don't have to-"
"And you don't need this either" I said taking her makeup bag out her hands and cutting her off.
"You look gorgeous without it." I actually meant this from the bottom of my heart.
"Well if you insist, Romeo" she giggled.

I went put on a white tee with some ripped jeans and my white AF1s with my blue butterfly on it. I brushed my teeth again and asked Maze if she was ready

"I'm ready" she said holding her little purse.
"Okay mama cakes" I said holding her to go downstairs.

MAZE'S POV

I really was attracted to Ki. I'm sure I want him. I haven't felt this in so long he's just different from others and I mean it.
As he brought me downstairs he grabbed my keys and held me taking me to the car. As we got in here asked me if the mall was the first place we were going to.

"Yessir" I answered happily

I was really excited to go shopping, it had been awhile.
As Ki drove he squeezed my thigh making me feel good causing me to bite my lip.
Especially with all those tats on his hands and arms it turned me on.

We came to a red light and he leaned over to kiss my cheek. I giggled and caressed his cheek as he started driving again.
We reached the parking lot for the mall and parked. He helped me out and we walked inside feeling the slight breeze of the a/c in there.

"Look at you looking all nice Nd shit for no reason who you trynna impress, crippled?" He said behind me since as I hopped on my crutches.
"You are very annoying you know that?" I smirked.
"If I don't annoy you it's because I don't like you" he said laughing
"Well I guess that's true" I replied smiling and turning back around to continue walking.

As I look up I spot my ex standing on the other side staring at me. I immediately felt sick to my stomach. My whole world dropped, not because I still loved him, but because of all the pain and suffering he brought me. All the negative thoughts and all the flashbacks came back to me at once. I kept a firm look trying not to show him but I avoided him by going into a store.
Ki noticed my facial expression as I got into the store. My vibes were all off and going into the store like that wasn't normal.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked tapping my shoulder.
I flinched. He definitely wasn't expecting that.
"Wow relax, it's just me. What's going on?" He asked worriedly.
