Chapter 8: His Truth

"Then stop acting like this Seirna." Kurt said.

"It's not easy when your jealous." I said sadly.

"I know Seirna it sucks being jealous but dont take it out on people. I don't want my my sister turning into our parents. You're the role model to ever single vampire who has stood up to their parents because they want peace between our kinds. I even look up to you. Matthew and Tyron look up to you. If you try to kill her than maybe you don't want peace between our two kinds." Kurt said.

"You're right Kurt. I'm sorry," I looked over to Rebecca, "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean to I'm just so broken and hurt that it sucks. Just seeing you and Tanner together just makes me go crazy. It just makes me realize I can't have the guy I like because he's happy with a girl." I said.
Kurt put me down and I just started crying.

"You know what sucks more is that I came back to the apartment because my fangs hurt." I said.

"Before I started making out with Rebecca my fangs started hurting." Tanner said.

"Is that supposed to mean something?" Rebecca asked.

"Yup." Kurt said.

"What?" Rebecca asked.

"Ask both of them." Kurt said

"I don't know what that means." I said.

"I do." Tanner said.

"What does it mean Tanner?" Rebecca asked.

"It means I shouldn't be lying about how I feel. That means Serina is lying about how she feels to. Rebecca I dont like you. I only said that because I really thought I could end up being with you. I honestly like Serina." Tanner said.

My eyes widened. Rebecca seemed pissed. She went to the kitchen to grab a kitchen knife then she came towards me. She held the knife at my heart.

"Kill me I dare you. You'll be all over the news saying you killed a royal vampire. Trust me even though I'm disowned my parents and brothers will come after you and they will kill you." I said smiling.

She started putting pressure on it. I started laughing. Then in the blink of an eye I had the knife to her heart against the wall.

"See the only thing different bout us is I want peace not war." I daid and threw the knife.

"See little sis I knew you were better than that." Kurt said.

"Tanner. I'm sorry I've lied. Yes you're  the guy I like but I always thought you wanted Rebecca. But now finding out that you wantme makes me feel like everything is fixed." I said.

"I still need someone so I don't have to marry that girl my parents want me to marry." Tanner said.

"So is that you trying to ask me out cause that was lame." I said and smiled.

"Come on Serina really?" Tanner asked.

"Yup." I said.

"Will you be my girlfriend Serina?" Tanner asked.

"Of course I will." I said.

He ame up and hugged me. I hugged back. I could hear Rebecca cussing as she left my room. I only smiled at that thought. Then Kurt tapped me. I let go of Tanner.

"Now little sis will you promise to behave yourself?" Kurt asked.

"I can't promise anything but I think I'll be behaving for a long time. I have no reason to get jealous. I have the one thing I wanted." I said.

"I have to go before mom and dad start worrying about me. Even if you have to use your powers." Kurt said.

"Of course I will Kurt." I said.

"Okay well hopefully see you soon." Kurt said.

"I hope so too." I said.

Then as quickly as ge appeared in my room he left.
