With the flow of time, all the noises died off until it was nothing but the ticking of the clock. Taehyung's sobs turned into quiet sniffles and his quick breathing into soft and normal ones.Hour passed, while Taehyung sat in his closet, surrounded by darkness and waited for the psycho to open it and catch him.

But nothing came. The sound of the footsteps were still undiscovered.

He leaned against the wall and and kept waiting, waiting, waiting and waiting until somehow he summoned the courage to venture out and check someone else's presence in his house. Okay you got this Taehyungie! He stood up, closed his eyes and soundlessly turned the knob of the door and let it open before him.

The room looked untouched. Everything was the same, it was exactly on the same place where he had left it. Looks like that asshole forgot this room.. He thought and shuffled out, keeping an eye around his surrounding. On his way to the door, he grabbed a baseball bat from one of the corner and held it in front of him in a defending way. He kicked open his bedroom door and quietly stepped out. He had spent so much time in the darkness, that he had no trouble fixing his eyes in the dark corridor. He tip-toed through the furniture and stuff lying on the floor and stopped right in front of his kitchen.

The pool of blood was gone, like it never existed and even the lights of the kitchen was switched off. Like his bedroom, his kitchen too looked spotless except for one thing.

The bloody foot prints.

The foot prints covered his expensive kitchen floor and stopped near the window. Taehyung followed it and closed the kitchen window for his safety. Thank the gods, he's gone! He dropped the baseball bat and heaved a sigh of relief, running his hands through his soft brown locks.

"I survived," he murmured and smiled, relief taking place instead of fear.

But little did he know that the game hasn't ended yet.
