Katelyn

'Kayle, you know I'm never trusting you, right? Not now, after all that weird stuff you told mom about?!'That is me, and my sister Kaylee. Always nitpicking on every fault the other has, playing the blame game every spare moment we have together. Honestly, life wouldn't be the way I've known it without her. (To be honest, it's pretty cool)Anyway, we're going on this summer camp together, and it's my first one, so I'm pretty much hyped up about it.
The grandfather clock struck twelve. Everyone was fast asleep. The solitary ray of moonlight that shone faintly into my room danced around, taunting my wide opened eyes to follow its every move. Here and there. There was not a sound to be heard, yet I couldn't sleep. I just had had a nightmare about camp - pretty unrealistic, but vivid enough to give me a case of temporary insomnia. Still remembering my sister lost and helpless and at death's door, while I was having the time of my life, bopping to the beat of a jungle tune. My sister, profusely bleeding while I enjoyed myself, hunting down rabbits for food. Eventually, the sight of the bleeding rabbits and my sister merged into one, making a gory and disgusting sight that I simply couldn't shake off from my mind. Anyway, I woke up paralysed with fear, rivulets of sweat running down me, soaking the collar of my shirt. My heart was pounding on my chest pretty hard, and this wasn't added for lack of a better phrase, for it was pretty true. Too scared to be left alone, I silently climbed into bed to lie down beside my sister and vowed I would leave in 5 minutes. I plugged my earphones on, jacked up the volume so it would drown out my fears- and set to work trying to get sleepy. I guess I slept there on my sister's bed eventually- my sister wasn't happy though. When we woke up in the morning, she pretty much scolded me:'Kate, you need to stop blaring loud music in the wee hours of the morning when everyone except you is trying their best to catch up on a little sleep!' Sighing, I didn't want to protest, the details of the dream betrayal still fresh in my mind. Yup, I wasn't going to get a good night's sleep from now till the camp was over- one week's worth of restful sleep out the window. Little did I know that I wasn't going to get enough sleep for longer than that.
"Sleepyhead! Wake up, would you? We're going to be late for school!" Kayle yelled in my ear. Annoying as usual. Her voice grated against my ear- I wasn't loving it very much at that moment, so I decided to wake up so she would STOP WHINING in my ear about how she was going to miss gym because of me. Did I tell you that my sister was super athletic? No? Never mind, you should have figured that out by now. I took a quick shower, changed out of my pyjamas into something more decent, and grabbed my backpack and indispensable hoodie and ran out to catch up with my sister."KAYLE! IS MIN COMING TODAY?"Min is my cousin brother, short for Minho. He's older than the both of us but very fun to be around. I look up to him, and it's only because he somehow manages to do well while having a lot of fun- he's really mischievous, no joke. It helps to even out the seriousness of my sister, who's pretty uptight about a lot of things. Around Min, no way. So you can guess why I'm pretty relieved that he's coming for summer camp too."Yes!" She shouts back, looking up from her phone, pretty satisfied that she can get a load off her back- me.

Minho

Out of my two cousin sisters, I prefer Kate. Sure, they're twins and they have identically deep brown thoughtful eyes and auburn wavy hair- but Kate has a way better sense of fun. Okay, except for the fact that I always have to feel like a big brother around her because she's always getting in trouble. Good thing she's going for summer camp. I wouldn't for the world go there with just Kayle. I'm pretty apprehensive about this one though- the flyer was pretty suspiciously attractive although there was practically nothing on it except a picture of kids sitting around a campfire that was taken off the internet- I had a really bad gut feeling about this.
Although with Miss Goody Two Shoes Kayle around, I wondered what could happen. The worst thing that could happen to us was probably a bee sting.

"Min! Wait!" Kate ran up to me, barely stopping just to catch her breath. "Are you sure about this? I-"
don't want to go? I tried to complete her sentence in my head. Yeah, same here.
