"Yeesh, Kayle! We'll be fine, let's go!"

*Kayle spritzes Kate with another round of repellent*

Oh boy.
I slowly walk away, hoping they won't notice me.
Sigh. You-know-who noticed me. Finally, time to leave.

Katelyn

We arrived at the camp, super tired. And it turns out it was a building. Not a forest. We entered the building and a man and a woman greeted us. And they were wearing lab coats and formal dresses.

But this is not a girly party, right? Cause I didn't bring any clothes.

And by the way, they have cool eggshaped chairs with shades that are called Pods. Cool, right?

Kaylee

The man began to speak. I wonder why the lady was silent the whole time. Male dominance, I guess. Anyway, the man laid out some rules.

1. We were not supposed to communicate with anyone using any device.
2. Always stick together.
3. Act like you normally would in every situation.
4. Always follow Rule 1,2 and 3.
Too many rules to follow, even for me. I raised my hand slowly and asked, "Would you be accompanying us? You know, to ensure that we're following the rules."
"No, but we'll be watching you and we'll send you help when you need it." No adult supervision seemed like a bad idea. What if we got badly injured? Or lost? To be honest, going to school sounded better than sticking around here. At least we wouldn't be in danger, and there would be teachers ensuring our safety, despite being strict. But I guess we didn't have a choice, did we?
