Before It Sinks In

Chapter 2

Another day had begone and there goes Summer, waiting for Timothy at the classroom doorstep. She was walking back and forth, her hearts keep on beating faster. Sweat all over her, she can't convince herself to relax. Everyday this situation is like a routine for her. She keep on waiting, watching, following him like a stalker to be exact. While Timothy is getting piss off by her presence. A moment later finally Timothy arrived at the classroom. She ready herself and plastered a genuine smile then greet Timothy a wonderful goodmorning but the boy smirked on her then bump Summer's shoulder that made her to step backward. But still the girl managed to compse herself then smiled.

When the clock strike 12 o'clock in the afternoon, she did the same routine. But this time she's giving Timothy a lunchbox full of foods she cooked with love. The same scenario happened, Timothy just throw it all in the recycle bin leaving the poor girl cried in vain. Days had passed, Summer already did notice that Timothy aren't attending his classes. She was worried if only she can go to the house of the boy and check him but she can't, she's not in the position to do so. She waited for how many days, weeks but still no Timothy. Until she finally decided to check him out. She went to the house of the boy from the moment she got there, she saw many people wearing black t-shirts she was confused of what's happening so she went near to them and ask some questions of what's happening. She was stunned to hear what had happened to Timothy. She just felt her tears fell down to the ground, her heart was aching getting her hard to breathe. A woman rushed to her then let her sit one of the chair. She wiped her tears away but it won't stop falling. The woman caressed her back and hug her tight.

" What had happened to him?" Summer somehow managed to asked the woman.

" I don't understand my son. I told him that we'll going to diagnose him to get rid of his cancer but he's so hardheaded. Now look at him, laying peacefully in that coffin. " The woman said while sobbing.

Summer was dumbfounded by what had the woman told her or she should say Timothy's mother. She hugged back then cried. Both of them shed tears, after a moment they finally calmed down. Timothy's mom told her the truth wherein Timothy was planning to confess a love for someone but then his illness occured that made him to hospitalized more than weeks but sad to say Timothy's body can't no longer fight the disastrous disease that resulted his untimely death. His mom also did showed Summer a note a dairy to be exact. She smiled sadly, she didn't expect that a boy kept a diary.

Timothy's mom give her the dairy, she can't understand why but his mom give her a assuring smile like she wanted her to read what's inside. She don't have a choice but to open and read it.

Dearest of all Dearest Girl i've ever known

Hi! Wait, i don't know how to say all of this nor how to say sorry of all what i did and acted to you but this time i'm going to tell you the truth. Ok here it goes, i sound like a gay but who cares. I don't know how to start but all i know is that-- i fall for you, you might not believe it but i'm inlove with you for so long but i can't bring myself to say this to you cause i'm afraid to hurt you knowing that my time in this world is limited. I want to stay by your side the whole time even if my action do the opposite but believe me i love you. I was pushing you away cause i don't want to break your heart when the time comes. Whenever you were giving me foods and chocolates, i was acting like i throw it in the trash can but when you're not around i picked it back then eat all of it. Indeed you're good at cooking that's why i fall for you more. I may sound coward for not letting you know how i love it and also for making you cry. But i'm just afraid really afraid. I know that from the moment you'll read this, i might not able to fight this illness i'm having but eventhough it'll happen, i' m happy to let you know how i felt. If you were crying reading this, please wipe your tears away, you already cried much and my soul won't be in peace if you keep doing that. Remember Summer, Timothy always gonna love you even in the afterlife. I will wait for you in the other side MY LOVE.

After she read it all, she can't stop herself to cried. She can't believe it, she went to Timothy who is peacefully laying in the coffin then cried in there, she was in great pain knowing that her love also love her. His mom hugged her. Sometime later Timothy's mom decided to open the coffin to let Summer touch him one last time.

" Why so unfair Timothy? Why? I thought that you were strong but why so coward? I understand if you had illness we can work through it, but why didn't you tell me that you love me? Why did you hide it? I was hoping for this day to come that you'll confess but not in this situation. How can i move on after knowing that you love me and now i'm not gonna see you again. Tell me how? Timothy you're so unfair but i know you're tired and now is the time for you to rest even if it's hard for us for you to leave. I love you My Love please wait me in the other side. Please wait for me."

After she said that, she touched the pale yet lifeless lips of him with her. She shared a passionate kiss to a boy she love most.
