4. A short walk away

The bright blue sky was suddenly blocked out in Lena's peripheralvision.

Kara was standing above Lena who was lying down flat on the  soft yellow sand, with the blonde leaning above her to look at Lena face to face.

Her long blonde hair curtained her face, Lena couldn't help but think how captivating this woman was, she stared in utter distraction.

"Have you finished?" enquired Kara, she smiled and raised an eyebrow at Lena's silence.

"What?" Spluttered Lena, her cheeks heating rapidly, was Kara onto her.

"Your food, have you finished?" said the blonde, a crinkle appearing between her eyebrows.

"Ohh, yes yes" said Lena as she shot up, relieved her less then innocent gaze wasn't noticed by the blonde.

"Great, I think we should get going then"

"Where?" Asked the Luthor looking side to side.

The blonde pointed to the left of the island towards some trees, she then placed her hand out to Lena, the brunette grabbed it happily and stood up with ease. The blonde appeared to be much stronger than she looked. "It's only a short walk away"

"So where are you stashing me then?" as the Luthor, squinting her eye to the place the blonde and pointed.

"where we live, it will be safer for you to be with me" said the blonde turning and smiling at Lena.

"I thought you said you need a day to prepare the others?"

"I do, but you shouldn't be alone so I will just sneak you into the camp" said the blonde.

Lena frowned at this idea, "but, surely they will notice me in one of your shelters or beds"

"no, not if you're in mine, you will just sleep with me" said the blonde matter of factly.

Lena halted to a stop, her jaw hitting the ground. The blonde turned and stared at Lena brow knitted together her face in confusion.

"Lena, what's wrong" asked the blonde softly.

"I-I just, you said I would be sleeping with you"

"yes, I can look after you and that way make sure no one goes near you, my people respect my space so no one will bother you there" assured Kara.

"r-right, ok I guess that makes sense" replied the Luthor, still feeling slightly uneasy about this plan. Sleeping next to a beautiful stranger who she just meet and clearly was attracted to was going to prove difficult and possibility even embarrassing.  But what other choice did she really have.

They walked non-stop for a further 20 minutes until they began to hear the voices of several people all talking in muffled voices. They were clearly very close.

Kara pulled Lena behind a tree and placed her finger over her lips, she then pointed to the right of the clearing to show where they needed to head quietly. She pulled Lena along behind a wooden structure of sorts, she then pulled down some oversized clothes that were hanging nearby and covered Lena in them hiding her face and body.

Now blinded Lena's heart rate increased, she was now completely at Kara's mercy and could still potentially be being led to the lion's den for all she knew. She then heard the thud of a door, her new clothes were pulled off her and she stared at the ocean eyes and beaming smile of the blonde's.

"I knew this would work" exclaimed Kara.
