Kelsey POV
"its nice of you to let me stay here but you can just drop me off at a shelter" I say softly he looks at me angrily "hell no your pregnant im not leaving you at a shelter somebody could hurt you there" i shook my head no in fear what if he is trying to keep me hostage I start to cry "pleas-e dont hurt me" i say in between cries he starts to look guilty "i would never hurt you i promise im sorry if i scared you" I accept his apology and sit on the couch "i never got your name" i say after a long silence "Jahseh...but I go by X" he says in a deep tone "im Kelsey" I say shyly he smiles he then goes in the kitchen and starts making breakfast "make yourself a home don't be shy" he says and chuckles so I just sit back on the couch and look for cartoons watch i then put on adventure time.
After breakfast Jahseh insists on taking me to the mall "so I can get anything?" I say starting to get happy he smiles "anything you want" i then go to the first store i see which is Victoria secret as I shop through all the stores Jahseh follows me around also getting some things for himself I notice in one of the stores he gets a stitch plushie but i think nothing of it thinking it was a gift for somebody he knew after we get back from the mall it's 7:34 while putting up everything i bought in my new room i hear jahseh come in "if you don't mind me asking why were you at that mcdonalds alone" i put the rest of my clothes up and sit on the bed "my mom....she kicked me out cause im pregnant"i say as I started crying
Jahseh POV
Kelsey started crying as she told me why she was alone at a McDonald at 3am i start to hug her "it's gonna be ok I'll be here with you through everything" i say feeling bad for her what type of fuck ass mother kicks her daughter out while she's pregnant after a while Kelsey is done crying "you wanna watch a movie? I'll order us pizza if you like?" I suggest trying to cheer her up "yes" she says as she looks up and smile while wiping her tears we go do downstairs and look for movies to watch 5 mins into the movie *poetic justice* the pizza arrives the movie is half way over I look down and Kelsey is peacefully sleeping in my lap I admire her face...how could somebody ever hate her
