Jeong Gyeong-ja commonly known as her previous stage name GWEN was the rising princess of SM Entertainment. Debuted in 2007 she defied against all odds by being SM's most successful project despite her being a solo artist. With high numbers and with SM's second most successful project BoA as her mentor, she gained the title "the rising princess" topping even the most popular groups at the time. But with her success came a persona, a persona pushed on her solely because it sold. The older she got the more she wished to remove herself from that title. It wasn't until she forced herself to fall that she removed the title and gained a new one. Under a new company with full creative liberties, Gyeong-ja went to show the world that she is not a princess but a queen.
