The night that Jack was killed actually turned out to be a fake. The night actually happened but Jack was never killed, The Tomb went after a different person that screamed. As The Tomb's next victim's throat was ripped out Jack had time to run. As he ran he cursed himself for being a coward, but what other choice did he have? The screaming finally stopped after what was really only minutes but felt like hours, and Jack felt tears running down his cheek. If you were there to see him you would have seen a silver sparkle on his cheek. When he finally found his way home he was drenched in sweat( even though it was 10 degrees outside). Jack was terrified, who wouldn't be after all The Tomb had done to the town. Many were killed during the attack on the town. the police were just sitting in the offices watching the slaughter and they do nothing, as if they created The Tomb themselves. the town had fallen, the enemy had won, the people were being slaughter and the other towns did nothing. The people had no choice but to die if they left there house or if The Tomb got into their house. So Jack decided to do something about it.
