chapter 1

That Thursday crisp morning when he stepped through the doors of the coffee shop, the day he will never forget. 

 Waking up that morning was a hassle for the mint-haired boy; I mean it was always troublesome to get Min Yoongi awake in the morning. His roommate, Alex had eventually given up on waking up the younger for morning classes. This specific morning was the coldest day of the year so far, so much so that it seemed as if you could freeze in a matter of seconds. There were quite a few complaints of parents saying that their child has gotten frostbite and refuse to sent them to school, due to the extreme weather. 

 The warmth of the coffee engulfed anyone inside to feel at home automatically. That's exactly how Yoongi felt, walking through the doors of his favorite coffee shop; Eat Jin. 

 The owner Kim Seok-Jin and Yoongi were like brothers in more ways than one. Protective towards each other was a really huge one. Both have had their time during school when bullied was what they were. Because of Seok-Jin being four years older and ten times smarter, he made it to university first. Culinary school. He loved cooking and baking for people, and now has a cafe of his own. 

 Yoongi, on the other hand, was a big reader throughout his primary and secondary school years. He aced everything in English and was the honors for English in his school. By the time he was in his third year of secondary school, he had already learned first-year university Advanced English. Yoongi's dream to become a writer was always quite active in the real world. As amazing in English, as he is, his struggle in school was maths. 

 The silver and golden bells rang throughout the cafe as the door opened, creating a lovely song. A tall, broad-shouldered man looked up from what he was doing to find a mint-haired boy at the door, glasses foggy. He set down the coffee cup he was cleaning and gave his friend a hug.

 "Yoongles, I had no idea you'd come today!" the elder exclaimed loudly, engulfing the younger in a hug. 

 "Sorry for not telling you Jin, and geez will you stop calling me that?" 

 "Never Yoongles," Jin said, laughing. "Forever and always just like our friendship," 

 "Forever and always just like our friendship," the younger agreed. 

 After an awkward silance they both burst out laughing, both sounding like bells. 

 On the other side of the counter, a young boy watched the beautiful masterpiece as he laughed with bells, his mint hair getting tousled by his manager. The ebony-haired boy watched silently until Jin opened his mouth and called him over. 

 "Oh, Yoongi I got a new employee. Jungkook, come over here!" he called to the boy hiding behind the counter, making coffee for himself. 

 Jungkook turned red at the thought of being near the green-haired boy and slowly set the coffee cup he was holding down and wiped the counter around it with a towel. He then proceeded to reluctantly get up to face both his manager and the beautiful boy. 

 "H-hello, I'm Jungkook," his baby face was as red as a tomato and had felt like it was on fire. He bowed in front of the shorter boy. He sat up fast and grinned his infamous bunny smile before rushing to the shelter called the kitchen. 

 Yoongi's heart stopped as soon as the boy stopped for a split second his eyes gazed at the new face in the cafe. The boy's ebony hair was slightly curled into waves was bouncing as he laughed at something on his phone. After the hug, Seok-Jin has noticed that his friend was staring at his newest member of the cafe. Yoongi looked in disbelief as the black-haired boy rushed into the kitchen, causing himself to look at Jin. 

 "Well don't look at me Lover Boy," the sound of the name made his cheeks flare-up. "Go after him Yoongi, I know you wanna." 

Without giving a second look, he walked past the counter into to kitchen to find the boy on his phone; earbuds blasting music. What it seemed to be halfway through the song he skipped it and then started singing while doing dishes. 

 Yoongi looked at the beautiful sight until he couldn't take it anymore. Tapping on Jungkook's shoulder he breathed heavily before saying, "Hello, I'm Min Yoongi, nice to meet you Jungkook."
