Wake Up

I woke up feeling someone messing with my hair.

I slowly opened my eyes, but I couldn't tell who it was because of my blurry vision. I blinked a few times to clear up my vision, and I realized that it was Yeeun.

I feel sad, but also happy. If Yeeun's here, then I'm not dead. After all of that, I'm not dead.

"...N-Noona.."

I made sure not to take a deep breath before speaking, but my throat kinda hurts.

She moved her attention from my hair to me, and she looked sad and happy too, but then she started crying.

"I t-thought you were dead J-Jeno... I-I'm so glad y-you're alive..."

I felt tears cloud up my vision and I started crying too, but softer.

"...I thought I'd n-never see you again.."

I'm so glad to see her pretty face, and I'm glad that she's still here for me.

I would hate to leave her and my friends behind. She cried a little more before she finally calmed herself down.

"But, you still look tired. You should rest some more. Everyone else is sleeping too"

"....W-Where are we?"

"We're at the hospital. We got here two weeks ago. You had to go into surgery, and you woke up just now"

"..I f-feel something weird.."

"They had to put a tube into your lung. They're supposed to take it out and seal you back up in a couple days, so you should go back to sleep before then"

She caressed my cheek softly to calm me down a little.

I hate that her touch made me sleepy again...

"I promise I'll still be here when you wake up, ok~?"

"...Ok"

She smiled and gently kissed my forehead, making me blush before I fell back asleep.
