Monday
the alarm blared a sickening tune at 5:30 am, right as it was about to snooze itself the male reached his arm over and cut it off completely. He lazily removed his covers and started to head for the restroom. his slender fingers gripped onto the shower handle and began to turn it to hot, as the water warmed up he prepped his belongings for after his morning shower, after a 20 minute shower he turned off the water and reached for a towel, he then wrapped the creme colored towel around his waist and stepped out of the shower. he began brushing his teeth and rinsing his face as well as shaving, he threw his work attire on abruptly before exiting the bathroom. he made his way to his kitchen and reached for a coffee cup, he prep his coffee and drank it down before checking his watch
6:12, the watch said. he sighed before pouring the remaining coffee down the drain and grabbing his keys, wallet and work badge before walking out the door and locking it. he walked down to his driveway and got into his car. everyday was the same. nothing ever changed and he was ok with that. he ruffled his brown hair before checking the mirror and proceeded to back out, on his way to work he felt something was off, everything felt.. eerie. he looked to the side and saw people walking and waiting at the bus stop, everyone was the same as well, he believes they lead a boring life just like him. that is until he saw him. the boy stood out like a koi fish in a pond of catfish. but they boy just stood there and watched his car pass by, and the man watched the boy fade away from his view. "weird" he muttered, before checking his watch

he wondered if maybe the watch had broken so he took it off with one hand and threw it to the side, making a mental note to buy a new one later that week. the boy sat in the back of his mind as he continued driving down the road and into his jobs parking lot. he prepared his things and entered the building, "another interesting day" he spat sarcastically
indeed it would be.
