The northern lights shined brightly across the night sky as one by one the Guardians arrived at North's workshop. As they did each one had their annual meet situations. Tooth and her fairies would mess with Jack's teeth adoring how white they were, Bunny and North was arguing about which holiday is more important, Jack kept calling Bunny a Kangaroo like always, and Sandy just watch in amusement.
"Okay mate why are we here?" Bunny asked.
"Pitch has returned." North said. It was silent.
"I thought we defeated him." Jack said gripping his staff.
"Apparently he survived." North said.
"There is no way that Pitch could have survive we defeated him and that's that." Bunny said with his arms crossed. Moonlight started to shine down on the Guardians, signifying the Man in the Moon was there.
"Hey Manny what's new? North asked. A silhouette of Pitch appears in the moonlight.
"Why am I always wrong? Bunny groan. Jack chuckled.
"So what do we do?" Tooth asked. Under the moonlight, a compartment opens to reveal a large crystal stand.
"He's choosing a new Guardian!" North said.
"I wonder who it's gonna be this time." Tooth said.
"Hopefully someone whose not annoying and childish like Jack." Bunny said.
"Hey!" Jack yelled. A light from the crystal starts to take form. Bunny was hoping not the Groundhog, Tooth, North, Sandy, and Jack on the other hand were excited. A light from the crystal starts to take form, revealing the image of a young female figure with a quiver in her hand and arrows around her waist, her long hair covering part of her face, and dressed in rebel way. Everyone stared in disbelief.
"(Y/N) Hearts. The spirit of love and the Head Cupid." North said. Sandy clapped in happiness.
"At least the new guardians is a girl." Tooth said happily. Jack looked at Bunny. He didn't looked shocked or surprised. His experssion looked pleased.
"How come your not going crazy about the new Guardian?" Jack asked.
"Because I know her. She looks up to me like an older brother." He answered. Jack looks back at the image.
'I wonder what she's like.' He thought.
