chapter 1
Walking through a cemetery late one night at two a.m. Leaves crunching as my friend and I walked. In October on Halloween night, black cats run through the graveyard and bats fly past our faces. As we walk through the cemetery leaves are blowing in the breezy cold wind.
We heard the screeching of the cemetery gates open behind us. As we heard spooky sounds, wondering what was in a cemetery at this time of night. We looked around and saw many grave stones with names and dates on them. Jay and I heard a very strange noise, we thought it was a cat that made the noise. Jay turned around so fast that I fell to the ground. He had seen his mother-that had been dead for more than almost 5 years. Tears started to fill his eyes. His "Mother" was holding her arms out as if reaching out for a hug. I told Jay not to go because I had heard many horror stories before. He said "I just want to hug my mom for one last time". As he slowly walked toward her she slit his throat. I started to run out of the cemetery then the worst of all happened, it started to pour down rain and thunder. I finally got out of the cemetery and jumped in the car. I then realized I didn’t have the keys, so I grabbed a cross, and my cross-necklace. As I stepped out of the car it wasn’t raining anymore. I walked inside the cemetery, picked up the keys, ran to the car, and drove to the nearest gas station. As I was filling up my car I got a text from jay saying he made it away but to call 911 and drive up to the cemetery. Just as soon as I hung up I was already there. I ran inside looking all over for jay, and I finally found him.
Jay was sitting there saying "Shelly please run" and I told him, "Jay I’m never leaving you again!" he said "Run now!" Then a vampire jumped out of the tree and began sucking his blood. I ran to the policemen but they were already dead. Bite marks all up and down their necks. I ran to the ambulance all that was left (besides the dead bodies) was bagged blood. I grabbed them and some needles. I ran towards jay and found a "stake" looking object and threw it in my purse. I run to jay put some blood in him and bandage up his wounds. The vampire looked at me and said "24 bodies down to rest and only 1 to go". He did a little evil grin. I grab Jay and run for the car. It was already 4:37am while I was pulling out of the paved drive. Then I heard something on top of my roof and it was 4 more vampires. I tried to keep driving but they stopped the car. I got out locked the door and held the stake tight in my hand. The clan leader with black and red hair very tall and the coldest sharpest grey eyes grabbed me from behind. Before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my neck.
This beautiful vampire woman named Raven then came and said to the clan leader not to kill me,but to turn me into one of them. He agreed and so he stoped biteing me just before I died. then I started to feel this weird hunger sensation. Raven said "we need to find her something to eat." The clan leader looked over to the car and said "what about that boy in the car?" but I said "no I will never kill him." The clan leader said "aww how sweet." He went over to the car and riped the door off. he then grabbed Jay and threw him over to me. I were pleading for them not to hurt Jay but the clan leader suked every ounce of his blood.
I looked up at the clan leader and started yelling at him. Raven saw that the clan leader ran to me and was holding me by my neck choking me. As he tightened his grip around my neck I could barely breath. I saw Raven come over and threw the clan leader to the other side of the cemetary. She said for me to run away and that she will find me later. she turned around and the clan leader attacked her. As I was running away i noticed something was watching me. I quickly turned and saw a group of vampires coming after me. I was so scared. I sprinted to my house. Once inside I locked every door, I inspected the house to make sure nothing was different then Raven came through the basement door with Jay's bobdy. she said," the clan leader isnt dead but is badly wounded we need to get you to a safe place before he gains his strenth again."
We got into a car and drove for hours. I had no clue where we were. The worse part about this is that Im a vampire, Jay looks dead and a stanger I just met is also a vampire.
