I was being chased by the police again for stealing something from the convenience store

My life is fucked up

He said in his mind as he runs through the bushes and goes inside the forest to avoid the police men

He goes deep into the forest and came upon a river....he looked up above and saw the beautiful stars shining through the sky with the beautiful moon shining with its own light as well

When can i be happy? When can i just stay somewhere and be happy like the stars and the moon?

He said again in his mind forgetting about the police chasing him as he heard no footsteps

They lost him...

He decided to sat down in the grass and looked at his watch

Its 9:00 pm

Its still early perhaps...he said to himself and stayed there for a while

Until he heard the bushes move in his right side...it was shaking

He moved and was about to run as he doesn't know what is behind it
It wasn't the police because no footsteps was heard so it could be an animal or a snake or whatever

He wanted to run but his legs weren't moving probably because of curiosness

He has a bad habit of knowing shits even if he gets in trouble he just has to know what it is

Until the bushes moved harder and a girl? Came out

She stood there in shock as she saw the guy standing there and she cried and pleaded

"Please dont tell on me....i just want to get away please ddont and her tears fell as he mellowed down

He decided to go near her and hugged her and said

"Just like you i want to get away so why would i tell on you if im doing the exact same thing...don't worry ill be here whatever your problem is"

The girl brightened up and smiled

"Thank you" she said and they got comfortable as they sat down in the grass

"What were you getting away from?" The girl asked but she didn't take her eyes off the moon

The boy looked at her and back to the moon and said

"I-do-nt have anything to eat---anymore so i have to steal...ever since i was 13"

He looked down scared, afraid and shaking

Why would he trust a girl he just met...he was a thief that she might tell on

"I thought you wouldn't trust me at first but thanks for sharing" the girl said while looking at him

He sighed and got relieved

"Promise that you wont tell on me"

The boy said pleading

"I thought we already promised that earlier" the girl said smiling

"What about you whats your reason for running away?" He smiled and got to speak

The girl gulped and said

"I was arranged to marry someone......" she said sadly

"Wait how old are you?"

"16"

"Same"

"What a hard life it is..." the girl said and sighed

"Its all fucked up i tell you"

"Im Raven...you?" The girl asked and the boy replied

"Im Valerian" and smiled
